I honestly don't know. I think they're okay, but I don't love them. I hear some of their songs on the radio pretty often but I've never gone out of my way to listen to them. So I'll give them a 6/10.

All of their popular songs are pretty solid, but I've never dug into their discography. I could see them being weird/cool/good, but I'm not comfortable giving them a rating based on my limited knowledge.

That was so neat how in the Shout video their family/friends got to make a cameo and become forever immortalized first on MTV and now on YouTube

This album is pretty quintessentially 80's in a lot of ways and there's some definite gold here. Not all of it is great, though, and Tears for Fears was never one of those groups to stand in the upper ranks even amongst its contemporaries for me. It deserves a solid 7/10. Maybe even a 7.5...but not quite an 8 for me.
