There is a good chance he will never, ever get those cards back without paying insane amounts of money. Japan has different sets, but Magic Ruler is the 3rd set here so he had some old cards. Magic Ruler came out in 2000, so it's 20+ years old now and it was sealed. To put it in perspective of non-yugioh players. A card, from the brand new side set Ghosts of the Past, now sells for $500. A piece of shiny cardboard sells for $500 that came out 2 days ago(4/16). Our first English set, Legend of Blue Eyes, can go for thousands sealed with 1st Editions going for 10s of thousands. Even some of the modern Collector rare cards in Japan can be $1000+. Say what you want about the situation, but that sucks. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
