Best Video Game Cover Art?

What's the best video game cover art you've seen? I looked up a couple similar articles online but largely didn't agree with the cover art they chose as being the best. I've been trying to go through a bunch of games I've played and there sure are some great ones out there. Here's some of my favorite cover art I've seen so far. I know I'm definitely missing a ton of cool cover art.

What's some of your favorite cover art?

I know it's incredibly cliche of me to say this, but I honestly do think that Breath of the Wild is up there for me. Has some fantastic cover art for sure.

Some of the other Zelda games have good ones too, of course.

The Castlevania series also has some of my personal favorites, particularly the later ones like Aria of Sorrow and Dracula X Chronicles, they're absolutely beautiful. Love the art style.

And while I'm at it, the DOOM series also deserves a mention

(I personally wish they went with this art for the cover of DOOM: Eternal instead, but hey, it's good either way.)

Interesting how the PC Engine version of DDII has Marion's Cheeks hangin' outa that skirt.  Not to piss in anyone's cornflakes or anything but I remember thinking this was a super cool piece of box art when I was a kid.  Then a couple of years ago, I noticed that Mister Mustachio appears to be giving Billy an angry handy-J. lol  Anywayz, for a bonus, here's a woman's thong line on an unlicensed NES box.  I sense a possible tangent coming on here....

Here's some fav. Art for SNES / N64 / 32X

@CasualCart

Yeah, for sure.  I missed a good deal on a Bomberman box recently.  It's too bad Hudson Soft had about 9 of their NTSC NES releases published by other companies.

You can have BotW just fine, but half of the rest are little more than logos imo.

Sure, but they're really well designed, iconic logos all the same 🙂 And besides, sometimes something as simple as a good logo really appeals to me. I don't always need extremely intricate art on the cover.

From what I understand the PC Engine version is the "real" artwork.  Nintendo had them cover her ass in the US for obvious Nintendo censorship reasons.
