@Reed Rothchild Wow that's insane I remember some of those and they were a bitch to get on DVD for years, stuff that felt lost the annals of when disney channel wasn't just garbage.  There are a number of those still lost, a few sit on amazon for a rent/buy digital only at least.  I see why I didn't know about black cauldron it was just last year.

Thanks for the link bookmarked that so I can keep an eye out for stuff.

That's some shit.... but too many big hitters to let them be on the list.  90's would be impossible to pick a best movie.  80's would hands down go to Who Framed Roger Rabbit

Yeah, tons of really good movies from the sister studios for sure. I grew up on the non-animated classics like Swiss Family Robinson, Darby OGill and the Little People and Bedknobs and Broomsticks (some animation).

Roger Rabbit is a class onto its own, would not include into this blockbuster poll.  If it were forced in there I'd have to give it the nod because of the story, the utter quality, and epic mountain to cross to get all that under one can of film.  Like hell those wankers would ever work together these days like that anymore.

Furious I had to pick Aladdin for the 90's because I love The Rescuers Down Under to death but Aladdin is, of course, Aladdin.

I had the same dilemma although I did pick the rescuers for the 70’s Robin Hood is good too but for my money skiing on alligators wins.

Robin Hood is my favorite Disney movie, love that it features Roger Miller, but it was really tough to not pick rescuers. Great movie with fantastic voice acting by some stars!

It's my favorite too, however, it is unfortunate that it is the OG soundbite for Hamster Dance.

Aladdin is also amazing, but I had to go with Rescuers Down Under.  Bernard was the anti-hero I always needed as a kid and I actually saw that film before the original Rescuers, so I kind of like it more than the first.  It is a pretty solid one though, and is great for it's time.

I guess I’m glad that I have no idea what the Hamster Dance is?

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is my all-time favorite Disney movie. (Maybe even my all-time favorite movie full-stop.)

Unfortunately my second favorite is Robin Hood, which falls in the same decade.

It's neat to see all the Robin Hood love in this thread - I can't really put my finger on why I like that film so much, but I think it has something to do with how whimsical and simple the whole thing is. Not every movie needs to be a huge, grand, earth-shattering adventure.

Also - the 2011 Winnie the Pooh is slept-on. I love that movie and I love it's soundtrack, too.

What do you think of the Raggedy Ann & Andy - A Musical Adventure?  It's art design is kinda wild and I haven't seen anything like it.  Specifically the scene with The Greedy in the taffy pit.
