  1. I’m still working on Kingdom Hearts and I’ve started doing a BotW 120 shrine run, I’m at 55 or so
  2. It’s on my own list to complete it 120 stars. I’ve never done it. The closet I’ve come is 115–116?
  3. Kingdom Hearts grabbed me by the balls and drug me in. I love this game.
  4. Playing for my first time right now!! It’s so fun so far
  5. I picked up and finished Links Awakening remaster and Simpsons Game PS2 this week. As for what’s next, who knows. I’ve got doing a full 120 shrine BotW run on my backlog and Barbie. I may try and tackle Barbie finally. That last level gets me bad!
  6. I completed The Simpsons Game on PlayStation 2 today and that’s two games in a week! I’m on a dang roll I have a lot of mixed feelings about this game. The story was like of bland but funny. I did enjoy the very small obscure references, they were a nice addition to the game. The camera was kind of janky and it didn’t like to cooperate in a few instances. I thought the “mini game” parts were fun but the rest was missing something. All in all I feel it would have benefited greatly from a little more polish. Compared to other Simpsons games, this is great. To me myself? I won’t play it again.
  7. Love this. I always get excited to see another lot of games is posted up. Definitely added a few titles to my must try list
  8. 9/10. I grew up playing all the nes Mario’s and while 3 was (and still is) my favorite the first one has grown on me immensely. Such a classic and so well done
  9. I finished Links Awakening remaster. after adding it to my list This game was great and truly how a remaster should be handled. The challenge climbed nicely towards the end. The 6th dungeon gave me a lot of issue but it was fun and well done. The final dungeon was my favorite, I loved the look and feel it had. The hot head boss was a bit of a let down but all in all I was happy with it. I only died 17 times, which doesn’t seem like much Now I will go back to Kingdom Hearts. I got stuck on the Wonder Land boss and I realize I didn’t grind enough…
  10. This statement has been a basis for a lot of my arguments the last 24 hours
  11. Something about Koei games… loving adding them to my collection despite never having played one
  12. There’s a name I haven’t seen in a while, welcome!
  13. I’ve been toying with MC Kids, it’s fun but it may be a while. Lolo is a slow roll… stupid moby’s
  14. It warms my heart to see another person who regards DK64 as their favorite 64 title
  15. Kingdom Hearts is coming along slowly. I’m engrossed in the story but the gameplay hasn’t quite grabbed me yet. I have also been playing Super Mario Land too. As a small side game
  16. I’m going to keep slow rolling Lolo, it’s getting tough and I’m not nearly as familiar with this one as I am the first two. Rainbow Islands is a great platform we, it’s such a unique design and theme. I think you’d like it if you are into platformers! I plan to play something else too, I haven’t done much NES gaming outside of the staples and the stuff I played as a kid so I’ll look at the list
  17. Rainbow Islands is done! One of my favorites from my childhood. Good challenge at the end and great graphics throughout
  18. I finished a couple backlog games so I’ll start plucking away at Lolo again. I can and likely will knock out rainbow island this week too
  19. It’s been years, wow. Good luck!!
  20. Wind Waker is done. All I can say, wow. Much better than expected. I had always discounted this game because of the different art style and chalked it up as a more “childish” Zelda title. It took some time to adjust to the sailing mechanics but they were fluid. The dungeons felt well paced and well thought out. PROS: All items felt useful and purposeful. There was a fair amount of open exploration. Very fluid controls. Story was good (better than expected). Bosses were creative and fun. Zelda had a roll of importance and not just the damsel. CONS: Ganon fight was fun but was hoping for more use of the swords. The graphics on the GameCube didn’t look great, even for it’s time. Paying for charts to be deciphered was a pain. All in all, this was a great game and now I have only 3 more console Zelda’s to play. This was super good but not quite the top of the list for me. As for my next game, I may add a new one to my backlog! Kingdom Hearts has plagued me for years
  21. GameCube! I’ve been doing kind of a bare bones run, though the further I get into it I’m enjoying it more and more!
