  1. A Racing Competition could be a lot of fun. Maybe pick one game from each generation 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th.. Or even a series of Racing Comps. like pick a few 8bits for the first, a few 16bits for the second etc.
  2. This would be great if it was animated as the filming of the special with the characters all portrayed as actors and constantly breaking the 4th wall. ....apparently they don't call him "Man-At-Arms" for nothing.
  3. One or both of these might better belong on just the other side of obscure depending on the prevailing definition here, but we'll see. A lot of the really obscure stuff I've had has come and gone, which is unfortunate for this thread because I've had some real oddities at times, usually old bootlegs. I currently have a copy of a bootleg of "Alla Ricerca Del Piacere" better known in the U.S.A. as "Amuck!", which is a real interesting film I'd recommend viewing but I didn't see much point in photographing a plain black tape with a white sticker on which I wrote the title... Anyway, on the left is an original 1984 copy of "Blood And Black Lace" which was directed by Mario Bava and looks beautiful on an old high quality VHS tape. It's essentially a Giallo/Murder Mystery and makes use of lighting and color in a fashion similar to "Suspiria" (Argento.), It's a Great film and I've only seen it available w/the slip case on one other occasion in which the slip case had been cut to fit a case just like the one pictured here. And on the Right, less likely to be considered truly obscure is "Oasis of the Zombies" which conventionally speaking is not what most people would consider to be a good movie. The Zombies however are a strange mix of terrible and fascinating to watch as they crawl up from beneath the desert sand to do what always happens to horny teenagers in these sorts of movies. The cover art is also a great example of how a particular type of propaganda works: Cover up the lower half of the girl in silhouette, say from the elbows down and you'll see what got beamed into your subconscious mind without your conscious consent up above. The Zombies having their mouths open is, I'm sure, no accident.
  4. Yeah, for some reason I thought I had to take out the center guy on 1-4 but otherwise I was always waiting for the guy to wave the white flag... I was never able to get more than one or two guys to run off not counting the guy in green who hops around like a bunny. My lowest level 1 score was 750 not counting the 5k bonus when arriving at 1-2....
  5. The cherry on my Sunday was I could've tied BlackVega's Commando score on my best run except I opened fire on the final group of soldiers too early and five more guys came out. Whoops! Oh wells. Nice job Morbo. Sub 20K is Slick! Bullets slide offa you! You play wit 'em!! And Well done BlackVega on Galaga! (which you don't like for some reason...?)
  6. Interesting topic, especially for someone designing controllers. When you're pressing left or right you're leaning either side of the thumb on the directional, but when pressing up it's the top of the thumb and it tends to both get sore and slide. Same part of thumb when pressing down but no soreness/sliding. Recently I was playing "Kid Klown In Krazy Chase" on SNES and your basically pressing down, down/right the whole time and I didn't have any soreness/sliding issues I think its because, when pressing down the final thumb digit is significantly closer to vertical... ...or conversely, laid very flatly....

Too bad you had to give him up. ..Semi-Random PII Story: A while back I ran into a guy on the street carrying around a White Fox. He said he'd gotten it with "Papers" from a breeder in another state. IIRC the papers were mainly to prove that this Fox was from a line of foxes that had been acclimated to being around humans for something like 5 or 6 generations. His neighbors called the cops on him and when the cops got there he just showed 'em the papers and they were like "Cool Pet. Carry on." Super neato pet but from what I understand Foxes while closely related, lack a great deal of the social charm associated with dogs...

...So, someone was breeding Bobcats and not telling people that the kittens were Bobcats?
  9. What is the name of the Emulator you are using? I tried one recently but it didn't seem to work at all. I can't say I've spent much time researching the topic but I did run into multiple claims that there are no good N64 Emulators available.... (if this topic has been covered before, apologies for my having missed it...)

@SilverspoonGaming I had a Pixie-Bob once upon a time. I loved that cat -had a ton of personality. How exactly did you come into possession of a Bobcat?
  11. ¡That's right folks, the "Scolder Of Holders" is Back! ...I like how "I'm" smoking a cigarette while working out!
  12. Nothing quite like the power of suggestion, eh?
  13. I seem to recall you having quite a bit more the last time we played this. Wow, that PII sure is a hard-to-please-hard-ass, huh? Sincerely, Persnickety, Petulant PII Ps. Good to see you around, tho, bro.
  14. Da Bid-Nith Manth Grilled Cheeth But seriously, I figured out something cool doing this. When in a hurry or lacking oomph, instead of going to the trouble of frying/deep frying the corn tortillas you can just spoon a little Olive Oil onto it, spread it around and then microwave it for 5 - 10 seconds and ¡Voila! So: Olive Oil Cheese Microwave Sauce Roll Eat Repeat as desired!
  15. Your Mom was Really pretty and it sounds like she was Super Sweet too. + Any Mom who brings home a copy of "Milon's Secret Castle" prolly deserves a Statue.
  16. Couple more ideas I'd like to throw out there for future consideration: Mushrooms - As in, do anything you like involving mushrooms in some fashion. Just Stuff It In Already - As in, make anything you like that involves stuffing something or perhaps many things inside of something else.
  17. ¡PheW! Glad I don't have to make myself play right now! Food Coma Incoming!
  18. No worries, I'z jus horsin' around! I know sometimes there's just too much goin' on. Glad to hear you're racin' and ¡wow! you were almost (kinda-sorta-totally-but-not-really-but-yeah-really-N.M.-should-be) in my home state! ps I am so far behind on Mario Kart games it is just sad at this point.
  19. I thought it was pretty ill from the get-go but it grew on me. I'd like to play the whole thing.
  20. Yeah, I haven't even gotten into Famicom enough to start making a list like that.
