  1. This is also a potential thing when using goo-gone. Works great but don't use too much and keep it away from the edge..
  2. No idea for sure if it'll work but I've successfully removed ink and marker from a label using a white erasure and caused no further damage in the process...
  3. Genuinely curious, which NES games would you categorize this way?
  4. This Vintage @JamesRobot Punkin is pretty damn Flash. Also noticed that Bimmy_Lee singled out a certain someone for last place. That is co-o-o-o-old blooded.
  5. That's my job I love the gameplay in Swamp Thing, def a BIG favorite. It is without a doubt the best Bart Simpson game on the NES! One of these days I'm gonna have to actually pick up an actual copy instead of emulating. I love it that much. G5K now that I think about it is pretty basic looking as you say but another amazing game for sure.
  6. Multiple pics can be a bit bothersome, particularly when one is strapped for space but those kind of sport games are always fun in my opinion. Plus it gives everyone a chance to earn points for each separate event so if you're not too hot in a given category you can always focus on another.
  7. It's a good Sports Game. Low turnout may have been more an issue of timing and player availability.
  8. It's actually a pretty cool game, if you like that sort of thing. As for who wrote the manual, it was probably the same kind of person charged with painting phalluses all over The Little Mermaid.
  9. Are you looking for "Box and Manual" or CIB?
  10. So what exactly is your ranking for these? I've never really shaken the lingering urge to play these kind of games, but I rarely pop one in. Someone said, relatively recently that Gemfire is by far the easiest one on the NES...
  11. The only way that could be funnier is if it had somehow turned out to be "Greg Norman's Shark attack! The Ultimate Golf Simulator." But I see it looks like it must be the same one that the 2600 Port is based off of. I Haven't played either unfortunately but I've heard that the 2600 port is decent or good. Is that machine in your personal collection?
  12. Pork Floss, that's a new one for me. Interesting. An old friend and I use to call this process or something similar "the making of stuff." I'd walk into the kitchen and he'd be like: "Wanna make some stuff?"
  13. As much as I enjoy mine, I'm happy to start the bidding at.... ....shall we say.....? $500,000? ...... I figure I can eventually get a cold mil. for an O.G. SuperJim!
  14. I was just looking at this one on the list a day or two ago (along with many others) and thinking that if I happen to see it available at a local store I'd probably grab it and have a go. Would you say you like it more or less than the NES version? (I'm presuming you've played both...)
  15. ¡I push da Button! ¡No you push da button, I push da Button!
  16. Soooo, at first I thought maybe you had done this to create a "soft reset", maybe for a game like Batman Return of the Joker, but it's sounding like it was just to not have to get up. Just wanna make sure I'm clear...
  17. Here's how I typically do mine: In a greased pan: Cilantro, Onions, Garlic, Salt, Black Pepper, Red Pepper, Oregano, Cumin, Paprika, Lime Juice + Any sort of Beef generally. Sometimes if I have some extra mushrooms around and I'm a little low on Beef I'll get 'em in there too. Line flat bottom Taco Shell w/shredded Cheddar, add coagulated ing. from above + more cheese. Additional Layers in Order: Shredded Lettuce Diced Tomatoes or Freshly made Salsa if I've recently made some. Chopped Jalapeños Salsa Verde (which I like to make from scratch) Mango/Habanero Sauce (Also make this from scratch) Sour Creme the one thing missing from this pic. - chopped black olives. Salted Avocado slices So Yum, I rarely have to take a break from 'em. The jar labeled Sweet Orange Marmalade contains the Mango/Habanero Sauce (cue wicked Wario laughter and twiddle of mustache.)
  18. Rolling Thunder - Da Boyds - 17,900 Gold Medal Challenge: 100K - 7.77 Javelin - 107M68 Triple Jump - 20M01 Weight Lifting - 260KG In the interest of Fair Play / Full Disclosure and so on I'd like to point out that I Modified a Jig-Saw and used it to press the A/B buttons for the Gold Medal Challenge Events. I didn't see anything in the rules against playing smarter in this fashion so I figured why not go for it. But of course I will concur with whatever ruling our two Benefactors feel is appropriate.......
  19. Price Of New Sealed NES = The Profit From 2 Kidneys, Coincidence?
  20. I tried making Doner24's Smash Taco the other night. Actually, I first whipped up some Big Mac sauce in which to dip breaded chicken strips. It had easily been a 1/4 of a century and probably longer since I'd tasted Big Mac Sauce, but right away I was like: "yep tastes just like a Big Mac alright." The only thing I did different is rather than a patty I made it like a regular soft shell Taco. Made for some good quick Tacs!
  21. I like when I have a hard time deciding which is the greater challenge. And I particularly enjoy it when the penultimate level is definitively the highest challenge and the final level is very nearly as difficult or at least comparable but also an odd or unique structure relative to the rest of the games levels. CastleVania is a good example of that..
