  1. My copy came in today, it’s fun and harder than it looks! In addition to need to hit Y again to make the shuriken come back to you, if any enemies get in the way of its return, the shuriken stops there and you have to hit it again to make it come back. I really like that touch because it makes me really strategize where to move as I throw it. Great job!

I'm at 5:01 seconds as a personal best, damn this is addictive and I LOVE the music.
  3. I have a random but fun one. Back when I was on okCupid in NYC, a writer for the New York Post messaged me, saying he and okc often partnered to set people up on blind dates and they wanted to match me with someone and do a couple of articles about us for their Meet Market column. First I had to go to their offices to do a photoshoot and fill out a questionnaire of tidbits about myself they'd use in the first article. Then I went on the actual date, all expenses paid at a nice restaurant. I thought it would be fun to use a move I do on most dates, and I brought something I baked to share with her. About 10 minutes in, a photographer arrives to take pictures of us on our date. It was pretty funny; they had us pose in different ways for every combination of how the date might go (we're both having a good time, I'm having fun but she's not, she's having fun but I'm not, we're both waiting for it to end). The date actually went well, we even went on a few more dates (which the writer told us almost never happened). After that first date, we answered a second questionnaire describing how we felt it went, whether we liked the other person, and whether we'd want to see each other again. We both gave each other glowing reviews that were published in the Post the following week. On top of it, they sent us the photos from the date and the earlier photoshoot. I made the mistake of using the photoshoot picture for my facebook profile. I say a mistake because it's one of those goofy pictures where you stand at an angle with your arms folded in front of a white background. My friends had a field day in photoshop, superimposing me in pictures of N'SYNC, the Olympics, etc. Edit: I found the articles! https://nypost.com/2014/05/03/sweet-harlemite-seeks-a-man-with-a-take-charge-attitude/ https://nypost.com/2014/05/11/this-weeks-couple-sweet-moves/

  9. Fortunately I never had the death slope, before Cambridge, I lived in a CT suburb but my car slid on the ice more that I care to remember. One time my dad was driving me somewhere and he tried to break at an intersection at the bottom of a gentle hill but the ice made him slide right through it, so he leaned on his horn to warn the car that was about to go through. Turns out a guy I knew was in that car and could see me through the window. He walked up to me later that week and was just like what the hell was that?
  10. I look forward to backing your Kickstarter!
  11. Sometimes the heart wants what it wants. When I lived in Cambridge, MA about 10 years ago, I was craving fresh baked cookies and I promised by girlfriend I'd make some so we could have cookies and cocoa while watching a blizzard that was hitting us at full blast. After the first few bodegas were closed due to the weather, I eventually reached a "I've been out here looking for a place that's open so long I ain't turning back now" place. I kept walking in the street (the sidewalks were piled with snow from the plows), and even had to jump into a snowpile to avoid an oncoming plow until I found a place that was open. And those cookies were somewhat worth it.
  12. @fcgamer you say you aren't trying to trash Kevin's game...yet you keep cutting it down and telling him to stop defending himself. For someone who accuses others of being elitist as much as you, you're being a pompous ass.

  21. Mine works ok, though I’m having trouble with the HBWC 2012 cart I ordered at the same time (it goes immediately from start screen to “time’s up”). They responded to my original support email but we’re still working through it. They’re probably inundated because of the holidays.
