Graded sucks, not much else to say. It's a wank fest circle jerk and the one time I did want to submit, I was told the seal wasn't legit by a bunch of asshats that didn't know anything about the fabrication of goods locally here. Then again, given the scandals and incestuous relationships, it's no wonder those folks wouldn't want my game to be legit, just to preserve their own games and values.

Are there any licensed Mario game which Shiggy wasn't involved in?

Nintendo chose to to this though, which is the benefit of having it be a licensed hack; however, M.C. Kids one could argue is more Mario-like (with Mario hacked in) than Mario 2 is, same with the Adventure Island Mario hacks.

I've always liked Super Mario Bros 2 (U.S.A.) but the only thing that makes it a Mario game is that Nintendo endorsed the hack. Here's a ton of Mario games. Many of these feel Marioish, some more than others, and some more than Mario 2 does. The only thing that is different is that these weren't authorized by Nintendo or the other company, and furthermore, Nintendo didn't later reuse the enemies for new games. That's just a minor thing though, a license doesn't somehow make a game hack more "Mario" than one without a license. So on paper Mario 2 is a Mario game, in our childhood memories it's a Mario game, but in reality, it's just a hack like any of the other games in this attached picture.

Maybe define it like the amount of potatoes needed to classify it as potato chips.

Japanese bootleg cartridge of Goal!

Ran across a local woman the other day selling some VHS tapes. There were mostly western titles, a few Asian films, and then this one. The owner wanted me to buy the set, even saying "I've watched all of these movies" though I doubt she watched this one, though maybe she did, as the owner looked quite rough. Anyways, maybe this is a bootleg (despite the back prohibiting it, lol), or possibly these were all done by hand. I found a description of the video on the graffiti.org website, as follows: As the website was started in 1994, I guess it was "new" when it came out in 1997. I guess I'm wondering for more information about this VHS and whether it has some worth or not to collectors, but I also wonder what other obscure / collectable VHS tapes people here might have. On a different note, I once saw some Japanese and Thai VHS tapes for sale, I almost bought them but I wasn't sure if I wanted to go into that territory.
