  1. Nice! My only complaint is that it doesn't seem to update live, correct me if I'm wrong but it appears that you have to refresh the page any time you want the clock to update. Not a big issue, but just a minor additional change that would be nice, since if I recall correctly that wasn't necessary with the clock on NA, it didn't need a refresh to update. Also, unrelated, but I like what's been done with the special roles having color now, I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere but I noticed it was changed from the whole post being outlined to just the role being colored in, which is much closer to what I had in mind when I initially made the request, so I very much like that change.
  2. I used to live in a real shitty little suburb of Fort Worth, Texas, but then in 2012 we moved up to a much nicer suburb in Saint Louis, Missouri, and that's where I currently reside.
  3. I hadn't thought of this but I agree actually, having the option for this site's version of NA time to refer to would definitely make auctions a bit easier.
  4. I do think I will join the club merely to spectate, so I can watch the game unfold and make sure I have a complete understanding of how it works, then I'll probably hop in for the next one.
  5. I'll still be checking in regularly, even if stuff doesn't get transitioned over properly. Hell that'd make me check in more actually, just to see the outrage over that. It takes me 30 seconds to just go on, look at threads, see if there's anything new, then go on with my merry day, so while I totally understand the viewpoint of just never going back there ever again, for me personally I see no reason for me to just drop it cold turkey. I already wasn't posting much so I doubt I'll contribute much beyond lurking, but honestly I'm naturally more of a lurker anyway due to my introverted nature so that won't be too big of a change. It's sad to see the path it's taken for sure, but I don't have so much genuine hatred for it that I'll just sign out and never come back.
  6. Quite a lot of Queen, since I became a huge fan of them after watching the movie Bohemian Rhapsody, which I personally enjoyed despite the historical inaccuracies. I was aware of Queen before hand, but the movie opened my eyes to how much I actually loved their music and I haven't looked back since. Definitely my personal favorite band bar none. Also a lot of video game music, as has always been the case with me. The usual suspects, Castlevania (My favorite video game series as far as music goes), Sonic, Legend of Zelda, all the real good stuff. Also been listening to some of Tee Lopes' work in general, since some of his tracks before he was hired to do the soundtrack for Sonic Mania are absolutely heavenly. Some of my favorites from him are his 2012 covers of Starlight Zone and Labyrinth Zone, but all of his stuff is incredible, especially the previously mentioned Sonic Mania soundtrack. Good god is that man talented. Going back to Queen, some of my favorites from them are actually the lesser known stuff. Like, I love me some Don't Stop Me Now, Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites the Dust, but the songs from them that aren't up there in legendary status I sometimes actually prefer. Stuff like Scandal, The Invisible Man, Coming Soon, Now I'm Here, Seven Seas Of Rhye, the entire Made In Heaven album, some of Freddie's solo songs and covers, MARCH OF THE BLACK QUEEN, MASTERPIECE THAT IT IS, etc. The Show Must Go On is my favorite song of all time, largely due to the fact I heard it during one of the lowest moments of my life, and it played a big part in potentially saving my life, so I mean how could it not be my favorite, it just kind of gets that spot by default. Made In Heaven also had a similar effect on me, and is also a fantastic song. Anyway, I'll just keep going on and on about music if you don't stop me, so I'll go ahead and cut myself off here before I type out a best-selling novel. ...With that said, definitely give Queen a listen if anyone here never really got in to them. They cover a ton of genres and have a little something for everyone I think, even if you don't just like all of their work like me.
  7. Unrelated to the topic of the thread, but I did want to interject real quick and say that I wish you nothing but the best in that, and I'm glad you're working through it. I too am suffering from mental illness of the depression variety, which was a heavy contributor to me becoming less active as well. Picking up things you enjoy again definitely helps a lot with it. Hell, perhaps subconsciously that was part of the reason I started becoming more active on NA right before judgment day. I suppose just know that there is another one of your kind lurkin' around these parts! Anyway, I suppose just in case I ever change it, my name on NA was ZeldaFreak, and at the time of writing that is my name here as well. I have been considering changing it to my Steam and Discord name Gustav "Nasty" Thott however, just because I don't think I'll ever not find that name hilarious, 'specially considering it comes from the credits of a game I completed, so it is someone's actual name. The thought of someone being out there with that name just makes me happy.
  8. Yeah, I do really hope so, it was easily one of my favorite parts about NA. I started showing up less and less and transitioning in to more of a lurker for mostly unrelated reasons, including but not limited to a self-imposed collecting hiatus and not so fun personal life stuff, but I always made sure to never miss Secret Santa, ever. I think even if it gets missed this year, which would be a shame, we should probably at least do it next year, since by then the vast majority of the kinks will likely be worked out. We'd be a bit more established as a community and not so much in the setting up, just moved in to a new house phase. I think I'd also be willing to help as well, depending on what all is involved at least, since I am also unaware on most of the process beyond a basic understanding of how the Secret Santa account works.
  9. @GlovesWE FOUND AN ISSUE WITH YOUR STUPID, BROKEN SITE! Nah I'm just messin' around. Definitely make sure to fix that whenever you guys have the time, though. No pressure
  10. Showing up just fine for me, just under users' avatars. Could be a mobile-only issue, haven't seen anyone else report it though. Glad you agree on the colors though, I think even beyond the practical benefits of it, it would be nice aesthetically just to have a little splash of color every once in awhile to spruce things up a bit.
  11. Oh yeah, I'm well aware of that and was aware of that before I posted, it just took me a second to see it at first, and with the exception of the little icons, they do just kind of blend in with the regular members, whereas before it would immediately be obvious to you who was an admin or a mod. Doesn't have to be implemented, I just think even if it was more subtle than how NA did it, a bit o' color never hurt anyone, and again, would help the newcomers a bit I feel
  12. See title pretty much, it's a very small thing and not at all a priority, but it's nice that on NA you can immediately tell who is a mod or admin or whatever else. Obviously over time as you spend time on the site you'll recognize them by name, but I think that feature is not only just nice to have in general, but would be helpful to newcomers as well who don't know everyone quite as well. Don't know if it's possible, but I would assume it is. Just a thought
  13. As one of those people that still to this day uses the vintage version of NintendoAge, this will take a bit for me to get used to... but man do I really like it thus far. Onwards and upwards, folks!
