To listening at while it plays in the background as, you know, background music.  I'm not a huge fan of either one, but the non-lyrical bits of Kashmir have been imitated, borrowed, etc., infinitely more than anything from Comfortably numb, so I'd say that music artists agree about which is ultimately the better song.

It's because no one has the balls to dare make their own version of Comfortably Numb, while people are positive they can make a better version of Kashmir because the original sucks.

I actually looked at the math on that way back when the lotto first breached the $1B mark.  I can't remember the specifics but, obviously, you want to take the one-time pay out, which lowers it, plus you need to pay taxes, which varies from state to state.

In the end, you could come out ahead BUT since most always when the lotto breaks $1B people come out of the woodwork to buy tickets, your chances of winning and tying with at least one other person is considerably high.  In that case, you split it and your profits are gone.  And if it's a three-way split (also viable) then you're really, really screwed.

Not only that but IIRC, there's also no way to buy mass amount of lotto tickets.  You might be able to buy them online now, and maybe you can buy 10x at a time, but way back years ago, you had to go into a convenient store and order a lotto ticket.  To have 303m tickets, you'd have to network with many, many, thousands of people to purchase all of those tickets for you.  It's literally impossible to buy that many lotto tickets at once.  I could be wrong but I'm guessing it's designed that way so that on some off-chance we saw something like a +$3B lotto prize, no wealthy Elon Musk type would go and take the gamble on buying millions of lotto tickets.

On a smaller scale, but it didn't stop them.

Almost all of it tbh. I'm happy to learn, maybe we hop on Discord sometime and you walk me through a round.

    Sure.

As quick explanation. If you are playing the standard world domination scenario, you need to conquer all of the territories in order to win. You get a set # of troops per turn, which is dependent on how many territories you have at the start of your turn. You attack and defend using dice. Highest roll wins, in the event of a tie, defender wins. The number of dice you have depends on how many troops you have attacking/defending. Attackers have a maximum of 3 and defenders a maximum of 2. Every turn that you take over a territory, you get a "territory bonus card". Trade in those cards when you have are set of 3 different colors, or the same 3 colors and you get bonus troops during trade in. If you happen to control the territory on the card, you get a bonus # of troops for those territories. The bonus troops for trade in depend on how many bonus cards have been turned in, but usually go from 4-6-8-10-12 or something like that. As more cards are turned in the bonus troops keep increasing with the turn ins, but not the bonus troops that you get for owning a territory as those stay the same.

It's been a while. Ping the last "big list" of invites that were sent out for the previous round. Let me know if you wish to be removed from the list.

As always, looking for new players. Games are 24 hour turns, so there should be plenty of time to make a move. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

I was about to say half of that. Lol, but I loved my PS2. It had excellent back compatibility to the PSX and of course it has a killer library of games too.

I was thrilled to get my PS2. I was happy lugging it back from I think it was Best Buy. These pics brought back some good times unpacking the system. The PS2 is where I started and stopped buying Playstations, that's all lol

I just want to post in another place the crowning achievement amongst famous woodworkers and a once in a lifetime project that I completed. I present, the shitty shelves.

    Incorrect measurements? Check.

    Not square? Check.

Wasn't big enough to hold all the N64 games? Check.

    Bottle your jealously.

3rd shelf looks like it sticks out on the left. It's a nice looking shelf though. Can't you just add more on top?
