  1. From my experience they look the same at first glance, but are really thin compared to originals. The edges also tend to be rougher, probably from cheap die cuts.
  2. Judge Engoron fines Trump more than $350M, bars him from running businesses in N.Y. for 3 years (nbcnews.com) The judge who presided over a civil business fraud trial against Donald Trump on Friday ordered the former president, his sons, business associates and company to pay over $350 million in damages and temporarily limited their ability to do business in New York. Judge Arthur Engoron ordered the former president and the Trump Organization to pay over $354 million in damages, and bars Trump "from serving as an officer or director of any New York corporation or other legal entity in New York for a period of three years," including his namesake company.
  3. Wasn't Mario named after the landlord of NoA's warehouse in Seattle?
  4. Interesting take: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/opinion/trump-s-cruelty-plays-to-worst-of-human-nature-for-his-maga-supporters-that-s-the-point/ar-BB1ijA6x?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=828a5db7cbc840869b0d2271cb89dd3e&ei=23
  5. I had one that there was an NES game that only one copy was released. It was a music cart, with tech that should have been way beyond the 80s. I briefly saw the cart in my dream, and the label looked like it was made by SNK; had that silver outline that most of them have. But everyone (and I mean, everyone) was fighting over it because it was a retail release, so it counted towards the set. Like, no debate, you had to have this cart. Can't remember if Code Monkey ended up with it.
  6. Well, he said he'd take like 30 seconds to a minute to describe the historical situation, and then went on a half hour history of Russia. And his argument over the Ukraine was basically "We owned it once, so it's ours forever." Which by that logic Mongolia will be asking for their empire back, which included most of current Russia.
  7. “He’s not gonna be like a Hitler dictator,” Klepper said. “No,” the woman agreed. “More like a Mussolini dictator,” Klepper added. “Yes, exactly,” she said. “Put the people in place,” the man accompanying her said. “A dictator can do that, right?” Klepper said. “It can put people in place. The good people are over here, the bad people are over here in a gulag.” “At this point, it’s what America needs,” she replied.
  8. That interview was surreal, and the meme isn't too far off.
  9. I can't stand the vocals on Something in the Air. Pinball Wizard is fun. Not my favorite Who song, but fun.
  10. I mean universally hated. I figure one championship is acceptable, two is a fluke, three ... you're sacrificing children to the same dark lord that Brady did by his third.
  11. Okay, do we all officially hate the Chiefs now? Are they the new Pats yet?
  12. I don't know if anyone has, but 30+ years removed I doubt there's much left in the Minnesota State Lottery records that isn't already known to collectors. @B.A. said he tried to track down the company on the label of the "official" cart, but it was long gone. I suspect most of the info and hardware went with them.
  13. Did they learn nothing form Google Stadia?
  14. Sweet, you'll have a familiar cellmate! I kid, I kid, if you got it all squared away, good for you.
  15. Eh, I kind of look forward to his insights into the prison barter economy.
  16. Anyone getting a fat refund? Anyone owe? Any gripes about The Man? Anyone blowing their refund on hooker and blow hookers and cartridges, or hookers bringing cartridges and having sex with you while you play Mega Man 3? PS, anyone posting that tired Simpsons Homer pays his taxes vid smells their own farts.
  17. He gave up his seat on the plane to the Big Bopper. Then when it was about to take off, he told Holly "I hope your plane crashes!" That's a true story. Of course, it was in response to Holly telling him "I hope your bus freezes!"
  18. BTW, Milli Vanilli was also on the Super Mario Bros 3 cartoon (Peach was a superfan of theirs for ... reasons.) Apparently when it first aired, they did use Girl You Know it's True and Blame it on the Rain. But later they edited the episode with more generic instrumental music.
  19. Waylon Jennings killed Buddy Holly and the Big Bopper, so he has no say in this.
  20. It takes a little bit to get the different moves down, but once you do, it becomes a lot more satisfying to play.
