  1. My brother and I "lost" Super Mario 3 sometime in 1990. I got it for my b-day July 1990. We only got games at B-day and Christmas but had a "huge" collection of games compared with other families. We had Super Mario 1+ 2, RBI Baseball, Super Sprint, Final Fantasy, Duck Tales, Jackal and Legend of Zelda at the time. Pretty sure my brother traded away Super Mario 3 for some baseball/basketball cards and told my parents and I that the game just disappeared. Growing up I thought he got mad and threw it away. Was not until 2-3 years later did I get the game again for cheap after SNES took over.
  2. I was hoping someone on this forum might remember finding one or have one in their collection and possibly get it documented. I live in Minnesota and this seems like an unique piece of NES history that I had never heard about before today.
  3. I have mostly been silent at Nintendo Age (many many years) and here at video game sage. I came across some pictures today about a prototype NES Modem and Minnesota State Lottery Cart. Link: (NYTIMES Article 1991) Destructiod article: (https://www.destructoid.com/untapped-potential-a-true-family-computer-137392.phtml) I think of myself of knowing about most things concerning NES since I have been playing and collecting since the 90s. Does anyone have any more information on this unit or have a copy of it in their collection? I do not remember this unit ever coming up on Nintendo Age forum. Any ideas how many exist and if possible to find them? The article states 10k were trialed in homes but I doubt that many were made since I have never seen or heard of them before today. Anyone have any information or documentation on this device for the NES? -ChepChep
