  1. @rdrunner I used your walkthrough to beat this game. You did a really nice job with that write up. I went old school and printed it up and referenced it while I was playing. I hadn't played this game since the Chicago Bears won the superbowl! It was a hot new release back then. It felt very aimless when I used to play it when I was a kid. I'm glad I got to complete 30+ years later.
  2. Rockin' the illusion of gaia shirt. I love that game.
  3. Oh man, that's awesome. I'm gonna have to try and score one of those.
  4. I thought you were joking, then I checked the sold prices on Ebay. That shit's absurd. On the analogue website it doesn't say they are discontinued so I don't understand those sales.
  5. Yeah, I totally forgot about it. This thread reminded me... so thanks! But now I see the super nt is sold out. Hopefully that gets restocked. I'm definitely gonna get one of those pockets when they come out too. The fact that you can dock it and play it on the tv is a really great feature.
  6. I bought a nt mini yesterday. I had it saved in my cart and it let me purchase it. I got a confirmation and it drafted from my account. I hope it will be worth the cost!
  7. Yeah I haven't see him around at all. I hope he's doing good. Maybe one day when he gets his balls back he can play DD2 again.
  8. Lol, I rented double dragon 3 and mega man 3 and thought they both sucked. Speaking of sucking and double dragon, where's Bimmy Lee at?
  9. Which one do you think is the best? I've only ever played through 1 and 2. I rented 3 when it first came out but didn't really like it.
  10. Yeah I remember being stuck alot. But you know what made it alot better? Nintendo power. I had the fun club news with zelda2 on the cover and inside it had a map of zelda1 and showed you where all the spots where. It was like Nintendo porn.
  11. Zelda1 is one of my all time favs. Especially because of the exploration. I still remember finding that power bracelet behind the statue, it was like a thrill...Zelda is by far my favorite franchise. I've bought systems only to play a new zelda game. I like when they try new things too. Man, that game was so off putting to me, in every single aspect. I don't think I can play it again. But maybe I'll crack open an nes mini and give it a shot.
  12. Lol, I just watched a 2 minute clip of it on YouTube. I'm never playing that game again. The sound the sword makes, and watching link walk around villages....tapped me out on that one.
  13. That game was unplayable for me when I was a kid. I hated nes Rambo, and that game was like Zelda Rambo to me. I really hated the exploration parts of the game too. I couldn't stand moving mini link around a map and then getting sucked into the side scrolling battles. It killed the whole adventuring aspect of the open world IMO. Seemed very monotonous... 30 years later and I haven't given it another try. But if you think I'm missing out maybe I'll give it another shot. I hated the music too btw.
  14. Yeah, that was a tough one. Poor guy worked like 3 jobs.
  15. Hey guys, one of my coworkers died today. He was in his late 30's and had a family including 4 kids. I'm linking his go fund me if anybody feels like donating to help his family. He worked in the hospital and sacrificed his life to help others. https://www.gofundme.com/f/we-stand-with-darell
  16. Lol, that exit is called a jug-handle. Left turns are way more dangerous than right turns.
  17. It took me close to three straight hours to beat Cosmo tank. I started freaking out a little bit because I thought my batteries were gonna die. That game needed a password system in the worst way. I'm never gonna attempt to complete that one again.
