    sold sold

    all gone thanks
  2. actually it's pretty obvious that taito stole the idea from sineca
  3. good luck getting that info! this would need its own mini-database in order to cross-check properly. imagine how many boxed and loose copies now come with cables and power cords that aren't the ones that came with that particular copy originally. especially the power cord since it doesn't have a playstation/sony brand on it. i think it needs to be worked model by model and region by region
  4. too bad the guys who bid up to 1257 usd really think it's legit. good fake to the untrained eyes
  5. These are all promotional from "back in the days", except the white N64 shirt and the black N64 polo which were available for purchase (I think).
  6. Oh yes. The cop part of the game is made of 3 challenges: - Crashing 1 tough enemy that tries to run away and does stuff to screw you up. The car has a lifebar on top of it so you know if you're doing it right. - Crashing a party of 4/5 racing cars. Same as above, but the cars are less aggressive and their lifebar drains faster. - Time attacks with a catch, that is, every time you touch the sides of the road or traffic, you get a penalty. The racer part lets you crash enemies like in Burnot, but there's no lifebar and it's not really useful to be frank. Also, some challenges seem to disable this option, as I found that cars won't crash no matter how hard you hit them. Crashing cars fills your boost, like drafting and drifting, so yeah they could have called the game Burnout: Hot Pursuit. The PS2 Hot Pursuit 2 had a lot more character and craziness to it. The PS3 version tries to make it look more serious and realistic, and I think it doesn't work well. Sure, cars look and sound nice, but that's about the only thing that stands out. Edit: also, it seems that the switch "remaster" is a joke.
  7. Hot Pursuit on the PS3 feels more like Burnout than Burnout: Paradise! Sure it has more crazy cars with silly decals but it has NO proper races. Just pointless go from point A to B as fast as you can. I spent 80% of my playing time looking at the map.
  8. Burnout 3 was a blast. Burnout: Revenge was, initially, unplayable. I got into it right after finishing Burnout 3 and I was shocked that I kept crashing like an idiot. After some time things got better but I didn't enjoy it half of Burnout 3. Burnout: Dominator (developed by EA UK, not Criterion) was a fairly good surprise. It felt different and less polished but was still lots of fun. I heard it was given to EA because Criterion were busy with Paradise. Burnout: Paradise is more like Burnout Parasite. I finished all of it except for some stunt events. It's a pretend-open-world racer and they could have slapped any name on it. Races are lame. Crash mode replaced by a bowling mode where your car jumps like a grasshopper after touching a car. I guess it's an OK game, but not a real Burnout. None of these games have a soundtrack though. It's just commercial songs stuffed on the disc.
  9. Just finished Ridge Racer 7 (PS3) and now almost done with Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (PS3). I think the next one is going to be Ridge Racer: Unbounded (PS3). Have you played Shox (PS2)? It blew my mind. It's really hard, the AI cheats like there's no tomorrow, and some times/races seem impossible to beat. But it looks great and feels amazing! It's a pure, unrealistic arcade rally game with licensed cars. Highly recommended by me.
  10. So I need to cancel someone's bid because he didn't read the description and I can't ship to his place. So I go to "Bid History" > "Cancel Bids", I select the auction, then cancel a specific auction, and I'm presented with 3 options: - The buyer contacted me to cancel bid --> using this goes to the enter password page and loops forever - I can't verify the buyer's identity --> same as above - Other --> This makes a text input box appears at the bottom, except that it doesn't work. I tried all the options several times, on Mac, Windows, different browsers. Anyone had to cancel bids recently and managed to do it successfully?
  11. Yeah most signed game covers I've seen from different completely different producers are done with a thick silver pen.
  12. It's really strange that he signed a ridiculously small DS cartridge label instead of the box insert, as he (and everybody else who signs games) usually does. I guess the guy who got it signed wasn't having his brightest day. It's also possible the insert was signed and swapped at some point by a previous owner. It's easy to miss a signature or dismiss it as random writing (especially if it's in a different language). That Dracula X signed insert is how it should be done Let me know how much you manage to sell it!
  13. So only the cart is signed? What about the box insert? or manual?
  14. and for those who really want to know, the signature is actually supposed to be 五十嵐 Iga (IGARASHI in Japanese and then IGA in English). But for some reason sometimes he omits the 十, like below. And 嵐 being rather complex, is written super quick and distorted, basically unrecognisable. my job here is done
  15. IGA is Koji Igarashi's nickname. You can see it at the bottom of Curse of Darkness' Japanese boxart. IGAプロデュース (Produced by IGA)
  16. That's IGA's signature in his silver pen all right, from top to bottom. good thing you didn't remove it Matches this one:
  17. it's a turtle hole made by bootleggers
  18. Could those numbers be plant or location code? Similar to how two digits on the punchcode are for the machine. I think N64 games have those too, even with letters sometimes. I'm sure someone somewhere figured out what they mean on the box flap.
  19. SNES Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past [-0 Manual, USA-1 cart back label] SNES Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past [-0 Manual, USA/CAN cart back label] SNES Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past [-1 Manual] SNES Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past [-2 Manual] So there's no box variant, only manual and cart ? What cart goes with manual -1 and -2 ?
