9. personally for me it’s more like an 8 but —when my son was an infant and wailing and fussing Meatloaf was his jam and guaranteed to quiet him down. For that I’ll always be grateful. 9.
Got this game when I first got a PlayStation. Once you figure out how the controls work they’re fine and appropriate. The game is fantastic and I prefer it to 2 I think. Le gasp. Don’t fall victim to malicious anti-tank control hype.
Absolutely massive. Do you include super Mario bros super show in your canon because I’m pretty sure your other list is missing Lyle Alzado. And if you’re missing Lyle Alzado you’re probably also missing Sgt. Slaughter. Or not any of that because these lists are huge. Just like…
I collect CIB so my focus is on crushing and tears and missing flaps and stuff. If something is beat to hell it’s got to be for appropriately crazy cheap. With anything that’s decent I’m going to always be on the lookout for condition upgrades.
One major thing for me is over a certain price point I am not going to compromise on condition. I’m not going to spend $100+ on a cardboard box for my collection if it’s going to look like shit and bother me when I look at it. I’d rather make the extra $$ for a good condition copy work than blow less of a lot of money for something I’m not satisfied with.
I guess I played this once or twice at a Dave and busters. That’s it though. Was ok. I’ll stick to Parappa.
Different but related game but I bought Rock Smith and man what a useless hassle that thing was. Also had to also buy an ABY switch for my amp and drag the damn amp upstairs to where the PS4 is just to use it without a game breaking delay in sound from the tv. And after all that it still wasn’t worth my time because they insist on using Rock Band colored dots to show you what to play instead of just using tabs like guitar players have been using for thousands of years.
Dank collecting will be the way for sure. But I think the fact that the system library holds the origins of so many iconic IPs kind of makes it kind of prestigious and it may buoy a good chunk of the greater library. Dunno about my Jeopardy games though.
It’s hard for me to say though because I’ve been here and a part of this world for so long my only real insight into how other collectors are is that subreddit. If I’m to go by that, DS and GameCube are the hottest thing since sliced bread. Don’t see those kids posting their NES hauls that often.
