  1. I always forget DOOM is considered mature, as I definitely played that as a kid lol.
  2. I don't disagree with you. What's odd, is that even when learning about the objective coding and testing failures of the first three games, it doesn't seem to impact enjoyment. I love everything about the first six games, including what most people don't enjoy about the latter three. The latter three are my favorites.
  3. I think I know which video you're talking about!
  4. I remember figuring out that you could beat the CPU ladder by pressing start on controller two, and then having player two select whichever character you were just facing. This little "cheat" blew my mind, lmao.
  5. Dude F13 is one of my favorite games. When you finally learn/figure out what the hell is actually going on/how the game works, you actually stalk Jason and can finish the game so easily. When it's rolling smoothly, it's low key one of the most underrated survival horror games for the NES!
  6. Kirby's Adventure (NES) on the top-loader.
  7. Mega Man 5 is slowly growing on me. It plays vastly different from 4 and 6. It's very friendly with 1-ups, and a lot of the strategy can be less fulfilling. Still a top tier NES title regardless.
  8. It plays very similarly to The Simpsons games, for sure! The first level is a true nightmare lmao. You CAN progress if you accept/work with the games limitations. I don't think I've ever cleared the third level TBH.
  9. Who says he isn't? It's THQ masterpiece, after all!
  10. It totally had the potential to be a sleeper hit, kind of like Felix The Cat or something. The logo, box art, etc. are all phenomenal. What an s-load of f!
  11. I'd have to agree, honestly. In its defense, Swamp Thing has an awesome intro. I remember getting a CIB copy of Swamp Thing in like, 1999. I definitely lost it and have no idea where it went; I know it's worth a penny or two now!
  12. This is a 3/10 game. That's saying a lot from someone with the balls to use the Swamp Thing sprite as their avatar, too.
  13. I remember borrowing a taped-from-TV copy of Bloodsport from my neighbor, and loving every second of it. Especially the lousy cuts/edits around the commercials .
  14. Right there with you, friend. It's my favorite gaming universe ever. I grew up with it. UMK3 (arcade) is still one of my personal favorites to this day.
  15. Fire 'N Ice (NES) Zen: Intergalactic Ninja (NES) Galaxy 5000 (NES)
  16. Holy shit I'm interested in this! Is there an insert at all?
  17. MM1 is very difficult and different. It's by far my least-played. I'm a bit burnt out on MM2 and MM3 if I'm being honest!
