Battle Kid: Fortress of Peril is done.

I've been slowly working through Battle Kid: Fortress of Peril the past few days. I should have it finished by the weekend.

It's on Super Famicom too. I think there were PC versions that came out even earlier. Must be one of the Dezaemon games. There's Plus, which is an update of the Super Famicom version and Kids, which I think was meant to be an easier to use version. The nice thing about Kids though is that it contains about 100 pre made games.

Choose from three different vehicles or play various bonus games in this classic flight simulator! For this contest though, only your rocket belt skills will be tested! Rules: - Play Beginner Class, Rocket Belt, Test 1 Balloon Crash. - Play Class A*, Rocket Belt, Test 1 Metropolis Dance and Test 2 Touch & Go - You may choose any pilot you want and you don't have to use the same pilot for every test. - Highest combined score of these three tests wins. - Take 2 pictures for each test, one showing your time immediately after finishing the test and one of the results screen. - Be quick! Your time will disappear very quickly after finishing the test. It looks like the only 2021 games I've played are Pac Man 99, Razion EX, and Slow Mole. I couldn't really get into Pac Man 99. Razion EX was okay, but not great. That leaves Slow Mole as my 2021 favorite.

Secret Ties is done.

Baby Boomer is done. Sadly, I'll never know the fate of Boomer since the sequel promised at the end of the game never materialized.

Both Devil World and Hello Kitty World are done.

That sounds much more doable! I'll give it another shot tonight. As far as gameplay goes, it's kinda bland. Most of the game you're only using a basic short range attack and the stages are very straightforward. It's on the easy side too. The graphics are...interesting. It tries to be lighthearted and gruesome at the same time. If you like the style, it might be worth playing, but it's pretty boring otherwise.

Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti is done. Ah, if that's the requirement, I'll leave it to someone else. I'm just not that into it.

What is the win condition of Devil World? It seems to be the same two stages (plus a bonus stage) over and over. It just gets harder (faster with more enemies) each loop. Looks like the difficultly maxes out at the tenth loop. I got to the fourth loop, so if one loop is good enough, consider it done.

Micro Mages is done. I played through the second loop on hard to get the ending. Fun little game.

Bio Force Ape is done. The platforming in this game is a pain. I think more than half the time I spent playing was at one spot where you had to jump on a series of falling platforms. Then, when I finally got passed that part, there was another series of jumps on conveyer belt platforms that when I fell off, I had to go back and do the falling platform segment again.

Missed out on some of my most wanted (Polybius, Celeste and Furi), but managed to get Black Bird, which was actually the one I wanted the most. Added on some impulse buys, some of which went out of stock during checkout (which was probably for the best).
