SCORE! Wow I haven't seen a Goldeneye 6-pack in a very long time. Just think you are the first person to lay eyes on this beauty since it came out of the factory. The last time I seen one being opened was at GameStop a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.

What a waste nonetheless.

Hmm do you have the option to return to the source? Explain to the seller what wata told you and what you might think happened. If the seller was smart, he/she would insure the package. That way all is not lost.

Super Mario Bros 3 Nintendo NES Fake H-Seam?
AnimalHouse replied to AnimalHouse's topic in Collector's Questions
True but the title was worded as SEALED. Not POSSIBLY RESEALED or READ DESCRIPTION RESEALED. Not all buyers read the description. They might read the title or look at the photos only. I know it sounds silly, but many buyers are lazy and will not spend the time to scroll down or swipe down to read on. -
OUch!!!! Anything is possible. Maybe someone in custom border familiar with video games swapped it out with an open one? Did you buy the game from ebay and used wata as the delivery address?
-
Watch out collectors!! An ebay seller recently tried to pass off several reseal copies as legit to unsuspecting buyers. Though her plans were foiled and received many negative feedback. I wonder how many more fake h-seams are out in the wild and how do you spot them to be fake? Past sales: link here

It should read "1 of 2", ebays terapeak product research found 4 copies sold: 3 raw and 1 graded 8.5 A, link here. The raw copies are probably stuck in wata/vga backlog pile lol. There's 1 raw copy available, link here.

So.. a friend found some INSANE sealed titles
AnimalHouse replied to Fryer64's topic in General Collecting Discussion
Anyone who is tech savvy will figure out his source. When there is a lot of money to be made. Deceptive tactics will be implemented by shady actors. I don't understand why some pple feel the need to share this with the world? If I had acquired a collection of this magnitude, nobody would hear about it. It would be like area 51 secrecy. Ah Storage Wars...Great show! Brandi, Mary and Rene's wife are all smoking hot. Nuff said. -
Video Games auction, link here Wow, this auction is almost 4x the size of Goldens, with 761 results vs 196 results. So many video games to choose from. I feel like a kid in a candy store lol.

Is there a negative to shipping to Alaska or Hawaii?
AnimalHouse replied to DK's topic in General Collecting Discussion
Maybe the seller thinks a custom form is required to ship to AK/HI? -

If the game in question is a holy grail unicorn. You're in luck. Otherwise, don't quit your day job lol. As long as the video game market doesn't have a bubble burst or black Monday. -

At 0:13 - Can you check with your friend on T2 SNES, if this is made in Japan or Mexico? Judging by the amount of games in the video. The owner is looking at a costly grading investment. If I was the owner, I would sell some games on ebay, generate income and use it towards sending other games to wata. Again, if I was the owner. I wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket. Diversify them into multiple channels. Golden Auctions, ebay, CC, CL and others. -

Deep pocket investor strikes again lol -
Gosh I remembered when a sealed Mario Bros sold in auction for $38,000+ on ebay. Now theres a sticker sealed Gyromite in auction right now, link here. Man this game is very hard to find sealed, let alone sticker sealed. With 3 past sale examples to choose from heritage. I will take a back seater on this and watch only.
-
Not mine. Someones setup I spotted on ebay. I like it when pple show off there collections in the background. Kudos to the Nintendo shelves. link here and here

I forgot the date the auction was ending and missed the beginning. After that, as Gulag Joe mentioned above, the rest didn't appeal to me but I was curious to see what they end for. Skimming through the list, I spotted (2) Mario Tennis Aces and took this prt sc. What a $ difference between the vga 95+ and 100.

Crazy nice sealed Super Metroid on eBay.
AnimalHouse replied to ApebitMusic's topic in Sealed & Graded Collecting
Going over each photo from the listing OP provided, I was able to spot multiple imperfections. Which I highlighted in the photos. Its not perfect as OP suggested. Still a nice copy to own, if you can get it at the right price lol. -
Has anyone experience grading with player1grading ?
AnimalHouse replied to Franmotard's topic in Sealed & Graded Collecting
Do you know if Stanga is one of them? He is from Brazil and has a good selection of games. Mix variety of companies. There is another from the US, seller gradedgamesandvhs. Who sold over 90 P1 graded games. Could be speculation, idk. Other sellers who I recognize from eBay who uses P1 is drobgaming and gamekingdom69 (former utcgames, premogames). Also, I see IGS. Though their niche seems to be centered around VHS than games. People spending hundreds to thousands on VHS tapes is a black hole that I do not want to get into. What's next, laserdisc?
