I just remembered this happened to me in Blaster Master Zero 2... I had to fight the boss again.

I recently downloaded VVVVVV, Gato Roboto, and Tamashii on the Switch e-Shop. While I haven't gotten to Tamashii yet, I managed to '100%' both Gato Roboto and VVVVVV. They were both pretty short (2-4 hours each on first run), but they were fun(Gato Roboto was the better of the two IMO).

These were the games that I put the most hours into and had the most fun with. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Super Mario Odyssey Shovel Knight The Messenger Mario Kart 8 Undertale Shantae and the Pirate's Curse Freedom Planet Sonic Mania Super Mario Galaxy 2

I guess I was your Secret Santa??? I'm glad you like the games. I played a bit of each before sending them off and found myself enjoying Raiden and Star Saver.

First off I'd like to thank @captmorgandrinker(who's hearing this for the third time from me) and everybody else participating and/or helping from the shadows for making this wonderful event come to fruition. Second... I'd like to point out that I'm not big on Star Wars... but that won't stop me from saying that the painting on my package is the one of the greatest things I have ever seen. Opening the mailbox to find this inside was one of the highlights of the year for me(goes to show how boring I am... oh well). And the contents are just as wonderful(of the Classic MM's, 8 and Bass are the only ones I haven't played so super happy for 8). A big thank you to my Secret Santa, who may or may not be Punkr13? (based on something mentioned this year plus scouring 2018's Reveal Thread... I could be very wrong though) Merry Christmas/Happy Hanukkah/Any Other Holiday That's Celebrated Now or in the Near Future VGS!

Wouldn't that only be a problem if you were on your last life? Mega Man 2 will count it as 'You Won' while later installments(at least 6) will count it as 'You Died'.

The manual does indeed say that. However, most of the time you can just Time Over(unless you really don't want to wait 9 minutes). The most notable softlock I've stumbled across was at the beginning of Hydrocity Act 2(the screen stayed locked and it is underwater).

Thunder Force III and IV (very addictive, I have at least 3 pages filled with scores from 1CC/1LC runs for each) Sonic 3 (short and sweet, no Sandopolis Zone to be found ) Blaster Master Zero 2 (plays faster then the first one, the new DLC is even faster) Kirby Air Ride - City Trial (its just really fun)

Sonic 3 & Knuckles: Completed! Also, Blue Sphere(Sonic 1 + Sonic and Knuckles) should be removed from the list unless the requirement of levels needed to be considered beaten is significantly less then what is in the game(a grand total of 134,217,728 levels).

While the true final bosses of Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic 3D Blast are locked behind collecting the Chaos Emeralds, should collecting them be a requirement for beating Sonic 1, 2, 3, and K in 2, games that just have different end screens?

Lightening Force - Quest for the Darkstar: Complete! Also, does 'Blue Sphere' (Sonic 1 + Sonic & Knuckles) have a definite end?

I really like Aldi. Aside from a few items, I'm able to buy most of my groceries there, plus whatever neat limited time buys that show up or 'we need these things gone' sales(6lb bag of Twix, 3M, Snickers, M&Ms, and MW for $5).

Thunder Force III, IV, and V for sure, as well as Kirby Dreamland 3 and 64, Freedom Planet, Journey to Silius, and Mr. Gimmick.

I'm gonna cheat and list three: Gleylancer, Darkwing Duck, and Mega Man 7. All of which I've gotten to their final levels but stopped for some reason(most out of frustration).

If I really enjoy a game, I will either finish it and start a new file just to complete it faster/more competently or just finish it and not go back to it for a while. Some good examples of the multiple playthoughs would be that I've put at least 30+ hours each into The Messenger, Blaster Master Zero 1 and 2, Shantae Half-Genie Hero, Sonic Mania, Lightening Force, and Link's Awakening.
