    I will be playing Super Mario Sunshine as soon as I can find out what happened to my copy. It seems to have disappeared since I moved. I really don't want to have to buy it for a third time.

    Most people only care about themselves. I work with a guy that is the OPPOSITE of just about all my beliefs, and we get along fine. Ironically, the only thing we seem to agree on is video games. In fact, today is his birthday and I sent him a text saying "Happy Birthday".

    YES! I agree, I bought the GC version just to use Link. I'm still trying to find a copy of it as I sold my entire collection back in 2005 just to pay my bills after I was laid off. The Xbox version has Spawn, which I think is kinda odd and out of place.

    The big problem with Vince, is that he is in an isolation bubble and really doesn't know what is going on outside of his own company. Also Vince has been running WWE for about 40 years, just an FYI.

    Yeah, as far as I'm aware, there is no lore to it. They just licensed characters they thought would be cool to put in the game. There is a whole list of non-MK created characters in the last few games. Like @OptOut said, money.

    It's just one of the current tie-ins. Robo Cop is also now in the game.

    Side note. Back in the 80's kids really didn't read the news or have the internet to look game news/info up. Most of the info you got was word of mouth. I can see that the business side started going down hill in late '82 but it wasn't until around '84 or so that kids noticed something was up in the video games world. Thank goodness Nintendo showed up in '85.

    Is it possible that the "Glitch" is actually an Easter Egg? Programmed by the coders to render this number if a damage item was used in a particular situation. Therefore, now math is really involved in the attack. Just an idea.

    I bought it on release day and was super excited to play it. Then sorely disappointed at the monotony of the game, and haven't picked it up since. I'm the only person I know personally that played it and didn't like it at all. The irony is the Zelda franchise is my favorite Nintendo franchise.

    LOL. That is what I got after my Nissan Maxima died. I love my 2016 Honda Fit. Wanted a hatchback for years.

    This happened the year I was born. I've never heard the exact month when things started to go downhill for the business, but I bet you could research old stock prices for the game companies in 1983 and get a better indication. That is where I would start. It's also my understanding that the home computer business that was just starting to really take off in 1983 had a huge effect on it as well.

    I put nearly 300K miles on my first car. A '97 Nissan Maxima called Maxine. She was bought used in 2001 with 15K miles on her already. It was rough the last few years, but I loved that car. Ran her into the ground at 287K miles on her in 2016. The trade in offer was $100.

    I have a small collection of vinyl figures, and I also collect Mountain Dew related bottles and cans of some of their limited release items. A pro-tip for people that want to collect soda bottles. Don't collect plastic bottles...they don't hold up and become squishy after a few years. Just an FYI.

    I've noticed the Paper Mario TTYD pop's up a lot. I've officially moved this to the top of my retro game play list.
