  1. Just for a data point. Plugged in my Wii U for the first time in 4-5yrs and it worked fine. But dam! I forgot how slow it was to open new apps/games on it
  2. Just when I go to play them. I don’t really need to stare at the consoles themselves. Kinda defeats the purpose of a dust cover if they get taken off to just loom at the consoles constantly. I don’t even really notice there on there most of the time
  3. As far I looked, which admittedly was not much. All of those pre-tabbed batteries are cheap no name batteries. I highly doubt they would last anywhere near as long as some decent branded ones. But, regardless, I wasn’t/am not interested in the pre-tabbed batteries
  4. Just bumping this up with the least “hackey” solution I found. Explanation and pics edited into first post
  5. https://imgur.com/DioyEUw This is what the front loader and others look like.
  6. @AirVillain they look fake because they are fake? I like the idea of looking at my consoles, but I like the idea of not having to clean them even more. If I had sealed cabinets to put them in that still allowed them to be used then it wouldn’t be a problem. But I don’t, so it is. It may be cheesy, but having to dust and clean out the grooves/ridges of certain consoles, seems more cheesy to me
  7. The cards were not dropped before. You just didn’t get them and should have contacted them about it (if you care). Personally them getting rid of them doesn’t bother me. One less thing for the game is required “to be complete” Edit: Also remember they come loose in the package not within the game. It’s possible you threw it out. Ive come close to doing that a few times
  8. Announcement email from LRG. TLDR: Promises to speed up shipping…again. Standardized packaging for most collectors editions No more free trading cards with numbered releases Check your email for a $5 coupon code that expires at the end of April https://limitedrungames.com/blogs/news/limited-run-shipping-initiatives-2023
  9. since it’s such a hot topic…I hate tucking in any shirt ever. Think the only time I do is at a wedding, which thankfully after this year, theres only 1 more of those for me to worry about. Im definitely the t-shirt and flannel guy in our engineering dept at work
  10. It’s a lot easier to wipe the dust off of these then it is to clean it off of most consoles. They’re especially nice if you have pets that shed. Aint no hair getting in them cart slots
  11. Eh, the Switch has many thousands of games. I think it escapes that kind of labeling just by the sheer volume as the vast majority isn’t ports from those machines…I think
  12. Here is a few more photos I took when I got home last night. Ive got covers for all of my consoles since the original post I made
  13. If anyone ordered that new Resident Evil collectors edition “coming out” in like 2 weeks from Gamestop, they’re canceling almost all of the preorders it looks like. All of the in store orders and many of the online ones
  14. You can kinda still get the same concept. Though in cabin form https://www.logcabinhomes.com
  15. That add is from a reddit post. It’s a Sears home. I think it was from the 1920’s
  16. Ive checked Digikey and Mouser in the past just could never find anything that doesn’t require moving the batteries to a different location or mangling the holder to make it work. The clips you linked to @darkchylde28 are surface mount so they are a bit of a pain since they get in the way of themselves when soldering. I guess there really isn’t an ideal solution for these
