Oh, I see, I've never really thought of those diagonal advert bars as "stripes." When I think "stripeless" I'm thinking about the red stripe at the top of late era NES games. But I see what you mean, this is kind of like the Ring King that's really hard to find without the yellow diagonal "Stripe"

They are definitely the laziest major box alterations on the NES.

I give that title to the spaces added between T and V on the cover of Win, Lose Or Draw. 1

Nesmaster | 402
Contra: B none M none Contra: B 90324 M 90320 PRG 8913 CHR 8906 Ikari Warriors 2: B none M none Ikari Warriors 2: B 81208 M 81209 PRG 8853 CHR 8846 I upgraded these and ended up with no dates on the new ones, with no carts to help date them as I bought as IB. Is a safe assumption that they are earlier ones? I see Bootgod has a Contra board with mid 1988 dates. Is the 1987 rule a Nintendo thing? What's the earliest third party date you have for IB @Code Monkey? Edited March 21, 2021 by Nesmaster

What's the earliest third party date you have for IB @Code Monkey? I would have to go through all of them to specifically see third party dates, I don't have them separated. This will be something you'll be able to filter by when I'm done.
