Game Debate #18: Tetris Attack

Beat this game recently and it's a lot of fun, but I had a LOT more trouble beating Bowser at the end than the player in the video above did. hahaha

I was a Puyo Puyo kid growing up. I don't have much experience with any of the Panel de Pon games besides every time I played Tetris Attack or Pokemon Puzzle League I curmudgeonly said "This isn't Mean Bean Machine..." and failed to give them a proper chance. Is Tetris Attack considered the most classic one, or is there another one I should play?

Wow.. this is my sentiments exactly! I gave it a 6/10 because it is a fun time, but I straight am a puyo puyo guy. I would rather play that almost every time. Give me Kirby Avalanche instead!

I'll continue abstaining from voting on (or commenting much on) any SNES games.

9/10 One of my top 20 snes games for sure. This is one im glad I grew up with.

I'm surprised there are people that don't like Panel De Pon. I don't hold it against them or anything, but I can't fathom how someone could dislike it. It's so incredibly addictive and fun to play.

Oh that looks rough!  I would be on for trying it, but I tend to suck at those types of games on anything past easy

Puzzle mode  was always fun. Great game. Pokemon puzzle league being the same game for n64 also great.

My friends and I would play tetris attack for hours  though.

I like Tetris, but I never really cared for any of the sequels/spin offs though.

Gave it a 9. I'd happily call this game "killer." As a kid, I was blown away at how full-featured the GB version was. Played it a TON. As an adult, one of my wife's friends got engaged to a guy with a SNES Classic, and they told me they played Tetris Attack against each other to settle disputes, etc. I told them I'd mop the floor with both of them, and we played a bunch of rounds and it was a legitimate blast. I've always loved this game. But I'm a huge puzzle game nerd.

They both destroyed me.

I've only played it for SNES contests and liked it a lot. 8/10
