9/1/2020 shall down in infamy as "The Game Boy Day" on VGS.  Congrats and that's an amazing accomplishment.

Also, if you're ever done with it, PM me.  I'd like first refusal.  😉

Thank you!   Certainly, I always know I should hit you up first with any bad decisions I may think about making 😉

Amazing achievement Gongrats! They look great as a set, glad I could help.

There is something so monumental about completing a set, especially when it's a tricky as these, bonus points for being that region as well.

What's next CIB versions? 🤣

Way Cool...... and damn i was beat by one cart. after years of chasing.

did you forgot the 108 no sticker and the 601 wrong side?  😈

and by the way ill take the HK 601 and 605 needed for my set.

by chance have you opened the game to check the Board?   needing a validation on the SS and the MANI boards...

What cart do you have left?   I likely will pick up a no sticker 108 eventually if the price is right and upgrade a few carts.  No error cart pursuits on my list for now 😄

I'm not opposed to doing a trade on the 601 / 605 if you want to bring me regular replacements and a little cash topping 😉

Are you looking for board verification on Solar Striker and all 601 - 605 ...?

lets talk data and you know how variant data is!!

out of my data i have the following.

There are Non-Epoxied Chips. they are branded with MANI

There have been only one occasion where a USA or A suffix has been used ie: in Solar Striker cart has a DMG-SSA-0 Chip this needs to be validated as real or a switch.

In the ones for have all your batteries been removed?

As for the boards them self,  i have not been able to find the production run number on the board yet. I'm guessing its under the epoxy which is sad.

out of the MANI i have see a 1,2,3 and 6 so i guessing there were 6 to a run.

do you see anyother boards other then: these

DMG-BEAN-M13
DMG-BEAN-M01
DMG-BEAN-M11
DMG-M161-M01
DMG-GDAN-M11
DMG-MMM-BEAN-M13
DMG-BEAN-01
DMG-BEAN-M14
DMG-DECN-11
DMG-DECN-12
DMG-DECN-M11
DMG-DECN-M15
DMG-BEAN-M12
DMG-M161-M12
DMG-MMM-BEAN-M11

i know, i know that rabbit hole is deep but your the "One" for "now" that has the data to confirm with.  😈

Nice! This is quite an achievement. Some of these simply just don’t pop up..

I’ve found myself going down this hole about two years ago.  Not going for complete, just key titles. Still looking for 15 more of these. .

I like how the look of CHN labels fit in more uniformly with my US versions than Japanese versions and also totally dig the alternative artwork

Is there any solid confirmation that 108 no sticker came that way? What if they all had the sticker and some people just peeled it off??

Yeah, it is a pretty even blend of sticker and no sticker .... there is no solid confirmation of why, but my best guess is that anyone outside of China probably didn't see or understand the game title so they put a sticker on it ... ? maybe ?

Is there a Hong Kong version of this? Maybe the sticker version was for sale in Hong Kong?? I know some English speaking people had expat settlements in Hong Kong back in the day...

Congrats on the set! Looks very cool all laid out like that.

I just found a CHN Side Pocket in a local game store. Any idea on it's value? I'll probably sell it.

THe only one on eBay currently is over $100 as a loose copy, but probably won't sell.  You can probably easily get between $20-30 I'd suppose.  A lot of these are hard to gauge.  As more "common" titles don't get much love besides the big franchises ....

Thanks for the info!

Here's a pic of it:

@JVOSS Hope this helps contribute to the data you're collecting for these carts.
