  1. Nintendo 64 prices spiked 2 - 3 times on some things, but Gamecube prices have gotten completely bonkers in the past 8 weeks. Like out of this world. We're talking 1000% increases on some sports and bad racing games.
  2. I wasn't paying attention and won an auction from Israel. The tracking has been slow, but it says the item is now in New York. It might be location dependent, and sadly, a bit of luck as well.
  3. Your comment helped me to sum up my feelings. Thanks for the inspiration and clarity.
  4. Sadly, it is 100% accurate. There's even video evidence a co-worker showed me.
  5. A CVS in Indiana caught on fire. While the building was visibly on fire, people were still trying to enter the building and line up in the drive-thru. There's not enough common sense and good decision making for a quarantine to stop the virus at this point.
  6. An estimated 60 to 70% of American workers live paycheck to paycheck. Roughly 40% do not have $400 in cash in savings. Prices in the non-sealed market will be coming down, especially after we get a month or more out from the closings.
  7. At this point, the goal should be "flatten the curve" and spread the number of infections out over the longest period of time possible. This would help the healthcare system avoid becoming overwhelmed. But with a majority of Americans living paycheck to paycheck, I don't know if we can practically shut down the country to help contain outbreaks.
  8. The auction I'm thinking of was probably 3 to 4 years ago. My comment was aimed at the increased prices of game items that are both rare and desirable.
  9. I remember a CIB for $120 at auction, but that was years ago. Before the recent spike in the market.
  10. I didn’t even know chopper attack had a pack in. And wow, I’d take either of the big box variants!
  11. If you're in the USA, I'll take Starcraft
  12. Passed on Go Go and Slot Car for $25, thinking I'd get them later. Regret! There's still a few that haven't spiked.
  13. Yes, I do every once in awhile. I had a trip there in 2017, and I actually ran into a NAer in one of the game stores I stopped by.
  14. I have/had family there, but I am from Indiana. Denver is my NFL team, for sure!
  15. Needle exchange programs prevent the spread of hepatitis and HIV, which are incredibly expensive to treat over a lifetime. Even if one has zero experience in mental health, healthcare, or addiction, AND a strong moral opposition, the economics are clearly in favor of needle exchange programs. FWIW, needles can be sold OTC in many states. Masks do nothing to prevent a person from acquiring a disease. Bacteria and viruses can be too small to be "caught" in them. A mask prevents spit/droplets from contaminating the area around a sick person. Masks are only useful for the already sick and in sterile environments (clean room, surgery, etc.). A full respirator and hazmat suit would be needed for a healthy person to not contract a pathogen once contact is made. The run on hand sanitizer, wipes, and other supplies is somewhat laughable given the amount of air travel and likelihood of asymptomatic carriers. More than likely, this will have to run its course with the already clear lack of containment. FWIW, if you are sick, please stay home. Disclaimer: Not a scientist. Not a physician. Just another guy on the internet. Do not use my words to influence your decisions.
  16. Today, I went to a couple Gamestop locations to take advantage of the Buy 2 Get 2 Free on the previous generation games so I could ensure I got stuff with original case(s). I saw mislabeled games, chuckled at a Hyperkin Gamecube controller for $35, and had to return a game because I was given the wrong disc. It turns out the wrong disc had been taken in, but neither employee noticed when pulling the games for my purchase. Most of the employee chatter at all 4 stores I've been to recently have been about the tech trades. It's sad Gamestop's business model is essentially a side job flipping tech like we would flip a lot of games!
  17. Merrem is a broad, strong antibiotic only used when absolutely necessary for resistant bacteria. Unless surgery is needed imminently, it would be better to clear out the infection, then operate. Otherwise, the infection could spread. OP is in good spirits and will deserve a CIB Genesis game for both now and the future surgery.
  18. I was pumped to see duck tales 2. I've never had it in cart form. This goodwill gave me Mario Party 2, Mario Kart, and Dem Jam NY on GC from April 2019 to October 2019. There are frequent $10-$15 PS2 and Xbox games, but I'm not too interested in those at the moment for $3.99 each.
  19. That's 2 Super Bowls in a row for Kyle Shanahan where he should have ran the ball. There didn't seem to be a reason to stop giving the ball to Mostert. Or at least eat some more clock. They kept Jimmy G on training wheels for the entire playoffs, but the Super Bowl is the time to take them off? Against a defense that quickly turned things around against Watson? On the flip side, I'm glad for Andy Reid. He's a good coach, and this can make up for Philly.
  20. Something I’ve only seen on YouTube, I snagged a $1.99 Goodwill bag of cartridge goodness shortly after opening! There wasn’t anything too special inside, but finding it, having to do the “I was here first” routine, and getting to sort through was an adrenaline rush! Although, I’m wondering if I missed something over the weekend. Where are the consoles? And no one has just Paperboy! Thanks for looking!
  21. Hi all, I’m looking to sell this copy of Ninja Gaiden III for the NES for $50 shipped via PayPal G&S. I have eBay feedback, if needed. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
