  1. Heritage and WATA's business venture still seems like utter trash to me. eBay doesn't let you bid on your own items. Doctors do not operate on themselves or immediate family. Lawyers must disclose. Organizations have non-compete clauses. What do all of those have in common? Ethics! We want a little ethics in this hobby! FWIW, EH could simply be the lucky winner of a windfall that Heritage and WATA use to screen their *alleged* debauchery.
  2. I posted in a different WATA thread already. I got my games back dirty and damaged.
  3. I’ve got a couple duplicate NTSC consoles without matching controllers. They will come with OEM cords and original jumper paks. Shipping is not included. The prices below are what I have in them, so that’s what I’d like out of them. Smoke - $140 Watermelon - $140
  4. It is pretty difficult to see on my only camera (iPhone), but it is definitely noticeable in person. It’s like grains of sand were blown into the wrap, making small dents. Between the wings on the red is the only place I can get it to show on camera. The overall size of this is about a 2.5 in x 3 inch area.
  5. I was excited to at least post pictures of my one and only Wata order, but the games look like they got blasted by sand on the front. There’s visible dirt and particulate on the inner and outer cases. It would seem paying for cleaning was futile. That’s whatever because I really only wanted the protection. But now they’re possibly damaged! Has anyone else experienced this sand like, petechiae like, damaged like appearance of the seal on their games only after Wata grades them? It really does look bad.
  6. My 2 game order went into post grading on May 21st, and it just shipped on June 16th. FedEx tracking indicates Monday delivery. All told, I placed my order 3/24, and it should arrive back to me 6/21. More or less 3 months for 15 business day promised time.
  7. I think a year minimum is a good expectation for turnaround time for grading anything at this point.
  8. PO Box is fine. I use a PO box to combat package pirates. The only times something has been incorrectly delivered, it was easy to have the town over check the PO box of the same number.
  9. My 2 game speed run order (15 business day promise at the time) has been in grading for 29 business days. In retrospect, I chose a horrible time to do my first sealed games order, particularly for my 2 best games. I regret it.
  10. Honestly, people are so aggressive right now, that it might now be worth the risk of some idiot making a scene.
  11. To my knowledge, only Majora’s Mask and DK64 are different roms. I heard a rumor someone was tracking or could track the back sticker barcodes, but that seems implausible. There are plenty of people more knowledgable than I that could jump in and drop some knowledge on us here... (hint* hint* hinttt*)
  12. There are still really cool items out there. Mario Party 1 comes from a local store where I traded in a solid number of systems and 1st party games. Mario Party 3 comes from a toy show, not a video game convention!
  13. I still have 2 of those Pokemon stadiums! 1 sealed, 1 opened and sticker removed
  14. My 2 game speed run submission went into grading on April 7th and is still there. What is obvious is that people are hammering warp zone at the higher price point. A shutdown would be a good idea for customers that have paid, but bad for WATA getting your money and your game.
  15. WhEn TiMe Is oF tHe EsSeNcE 120 business days. That is a 6 month estimate.
  16. There's not an incentive for WATA to go faster. There's incredible demand for a service predicated on a finite supply of sealed retro games. This is not cards where there's a booming demand for current day players on cards being made today. Is there anyone after a 9.6 A++ Mario Odyssey? Turbo is probably going to get paused. If it gets too silly, Speed Run will be $250 a game for 30 days and Warpzone will be $500+ for 15 days.
  17. How long should something stay in “awaiting” status? I paid for tracking and signature confirmation, so I know WATA has the package.
  18. The Microsoft Halo Machine. Had one as a kid. Loved it, but only for Halo. And ESPN football 2K5... Other than that, the XBOX (if I still had one) would be hanging out with my backwards compatible PS3 as very very very heavy paperweights.
  19. Spend, Reserve, and Growth all have individual account numbers. Reserve and Growth will offer a small amount of interest. I set my monthly bills that are set amounts to come out of the Reserve. Growth is just a savings account. The spend account is for your deposits and transfers to the other two accounts.
  20. The Nintendo 64 is unique and amazing. The lack of RPGs and shooters has to be accounted, but I don't like those genre of games anyways. The 64 is my favorite system for now, but GB/C/A/SP and Switch are gaining.
  21. I will definitely have to look into it! It would be awesome to discover new items there too.
  22. That's really cool that each went to a different home, and there's a story behind it. I'm probably missing out by not being on Facebook looking for them. Edit: Forgot to say, I will post any Big ol' links here. That size is where I draw the line for space reasons!
