  1. I saw Papa Roach under a small tent at a festival in 2000, soon after Last Resort hit the radio. Was a very fun set. Don’t think I’ve listened to a song of theirs in about 15 years though.
  2. The $600 threshold was moved back another year, so $20,000 and 200 transactions was still the mark for 2022.
  3. 2122 Tough choices. I love the Beastie Boys, but this is probably my least favorite song of theirs and I’m a sucker for 80’s Madonna.
  4. That’s almost criminal, they hold it until the market has pretty much bottomed out?
  5. Same, big PTA guy and really liked this one. Phantom Thread was well made, but not a fun watch. Haven’t seen Inherent Vice either.
  6. Mind enlightening those of us that have no idea what that stands for?
  7. To add to the above, my local craft beer bar makes some killer boneless wings and I much prefer those. It is hand pulled chicken that they roast in their open fire oven, with a light breading. Sure it’s more a highfaultin version of a chicken nugget, but the Thai Chili version is delicious. Much less work for a bigger payout vs their bone in wings, which come frozen, like everywhere else.
  8. Honestly I don’t really care for either. Wings are pretty much the most overrated food in the world.
  9. Let me guess, you had BoF2 rated behind Secret of the Stars.
  10. Never played it, but open to it. Probably won’t be as good as Lufia 2 or Breath of Fire 2 though.
  11. Need to watch that soon. Watched The Banshee’s of Inisherin tonight. It was decent, very well acted and beautifully shot with a slow, but interesting plot. Definitely a 1 and done watch for me, unlike the last collab with these players, In Bruges which is very rewatchable.
  12. Paul Mescal with the nomination over Cruise, really hope he wins!
  13. Enough with this, time for everyone to get back on topic.
  14. Please, enough with the bickering, time to get this thread back on topic.
  15. Watched Aftersun today. Best film I’ve seen in years. Perfectly shot, hauntingly beautiful. As a first time expectant father of a daughter in the next week or so, it hit me hard as I grapple with insecurities of the father that I will be. Probably the best look at grief, depression and memories I’ve seen. I hope it wins best picture, and the lead Actor deserves every award this season.
