I am playing Zelda: Ocarina of Time, a game I have never beaten. This is my 3rd? attempt over the years. I always gave up before or when I got to adult link. Hopefully I can play it all the way through this time.

I used to like playing Bloons Tower Defense. Fun weapons you can set up. Different kinds of monkeys. It may not be as in depth or serious as others. But its fun.

I had my last final of the semester today. On my drive back home, I stopped into a local game store who had 3 copies of Bubble Ghost! Now I'm free to spend the next few days on it.

Inspired by the latest Gamexplain series of videos, I'd like to ask this question here. What is the greatest game of the decade? With the 2020 right around the corner, it's time to look back at the past 10 years. There have been so many great stand out titles. Is this a question anyone can answer? I have a really hard time thinking this one over. Off the top of my head without toomuch thought, I might have to say Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

This year, its been the OG GameBoy for me. I know everything that is out there on the NES and nothing surprises me about it anymore. But with GameBoy, it is basically another whole NES library I'm new to! They are still 8 bit like NES but unique games. I love discovering these GB gems that are new to me. The 8 bit era on Nintendo systems lasted from 1983-2002! Incredible.There is so much new material to play and learn about. It's been a blast!

I've been wanting to try this out. I last played BLOPS 2. There have been a lot of complaints online about excessive camping in this one. Specifically, with claymores and how the map design is a lot more cramped. Did you have any problems with this yourself?

What are you playing on, out of curiosity? Flashcart, emulator, real cart, mega sg? That's great video quality. I need a Mega SG someday. That game looks cool. But holy cow, people are asking $1,000?

Nice work! Did you have a lot of difficulty beating it? In February, I played through and beat it but had a really tough time getting through it. It would have been on the default difficulty. I remember on the flying bug/wasp boss, I think I was stuck with a shitty weapon which made the fight close to impossible. I remember it requiring so many hits that I either couldn't kill him in time, or I would die because of the useless weapon doing no damage. So what I did was intentionally jump into one of his bullets which would bounce me backwards and over the left wall/column out of the boss arena area. From here I was out of bounds and I could keep hitting him without being in range. He couldn't teleport to where I was. It took forever but I eventually got it. I wish I remember more details of it. But that was the only way I could beat him with that weapon.

Thanks for looking that up. I had no idea those were requirements. That's what is so cool about the game. There is a lot of depth. I can give it another shot over the weekend but I dont remember a robot or chief lol. I'll have to look up a playthrough for help. What do you think about Castlevania Bloodlines? Doesnt beating it on normal say "Try on expert difficulty"? Does that constitute a bad ending? The only difference on expert is a line of text saying congratulations.

The only suggestion I can give is give a good look for broken traces. Especially since you mentioned there being corrosion. I did fix an X eye by repairing a broken trace on the motherboard. It was tiny so look closely. Of course your issue could be plenty of other things. Good luck!

Lol Its so funny and lame they put that in the manual. Ive gotten trapped in that loop before. Thankfully it does have a timer. Wait 10 minutes and you can try again.

I'd love to hear your experiences about getting softlocked in games. Where you get into a glitch or are trapped with no way out. You have to reset the game to escape it. This happened to me in Super Mario Bros. 2. Somehow I ended up with a mushroom block on top of me. There is no timer, enemies, or way to kill myself. I had to reset the game. It was so frustrating.

What was the whole deal with mods and the Tim Atwood ban? Am I allowed to ask? All I remember was that there was some trolling or something. Then there was controversy about it.

I collected and played with beanie babies as a young kid. I used to love searching through huge bins at Goodwill. That was the first collecting spark for me. Now I know why I had so much luck. This was a few years after the bubble burst! Good thing they were dirt cheap. And I had a whole lot more fun playing with them then speculators did I had this book as well. I liked flipping through it.

Don't underestimate battery corrosion. Its serious stuff. When it leaks onto the motherboard, it eats everything away. I've seen way too many wavebird controllers, OG gameboys, even laser tag guns that were too far gone with board damage. And once that starts to rust the battery connectors, it is a whole lot harder to clean that off and get any connection.

Yep that's why i chose to buy the Japanese version instead. They messed this one up when bringing it to the US. Why tf did they change Axel's shirt to yellow and Blaze's to white? What is the point of that.

I bought the Japanese version of Streets of Rage 3 and it came in this week. Great game! The controls feel so fluid. Going back to SOR 2 right afterwards was painful. I never realized how stiff and slow that game was. Also the SOR 3 soundtrack fits so well when playing. I dont know if you'll count this one or not. I beat it on Normal difficulty. Which I guess gets you a bad ending.

I think it must have been a glitch. The game is pretty janky. This one froze when I ran through a bunch of enemies with a super star.
