  1. Can't help but mention Baby T-Rex, which was reskinned and renamed to Agro Soar for the Australian market, We're back! A Dinosaur Story for the US market and Bamse for the Scandinavian market.
  2. We'll cross our fingers that one will be set up at one of next years conventions - would love to give it a try
  3. This does seem to be old news, after I've Googled the subject a bit more. Was surprised it hadn't been discussed on here before. @SumezDo you know of any venue in our part of the world that has an exA setup?
  4. Seems that Gimmick! will get a release for the exA-Arcadia arcade system. https://exa.ac/product/gimmick-exact-mix/?v=0f177369a3b7 Price for the system is SGD$ 3,549 (~USD2,600) Price the the game is SGD$1,699 (~USD1,245) Game + system bought as bundle: SGD$4.529 (~USD3,320) Wasn't familiar with the system, but it's interesting indeed. Wouldn't expect someone going all in on a new arcade system in 2020 - Going to be interesting to see, how far they can take it. Their list of partners already at this point is fairly impressive: https://exa.ac/en/partners/?v=0f177369a3b7 Thoughts?
  5. View Listing Mr. Gimmick NES SCN CIB Hi, For offer is this Mr. Gimmick SCN CIB; this is a genuine copy. Reason for selling is that I'm shifting my focus towards Game & Watch games, so if you have any (boxed) Game & Watch games, I would welcome these as trade or part payment; I would also be interested in buying G&W's directly. All offers considered. It's currently also on eBay for $2.300 OBO, but would consider a lower offer. Hit me up, if there are any questions. Will be shipped from Denmark. 6. I'm not sure I get it? What exactly is fog gaming? As far as I can see, we're just talking a kind of remote desktop solution for arcade games? That can't be it - Does that even make sense? So you'll be at home playing with your controller, but instead of playing a port for whichever console you have at home, you'll be playing the arcade game remotely? But... why? I have no idea, what's available in terms of arcade games in Japan, but are there masterpieces which aren't possible to port to home consoles, that people are craving for playing at home on a normal TV or monitor with a normal controller?
  7. If you're talking about a list over which games are available as Swedish Yapon, the best updated list is available on sndb.se - Their list counts 180 Swedish Yapon games, plus 7 more for Finland / Denmark. I've tried doing the Spoiler thing here below to not use too much space.
  8. Hi @Bubbapauls Thanks for the list. I'm curious about the quote: Do you remember where you have this information from, I would love to read your source on this, and curious to why Nintendo should've needed to purchase the rights to their own games? Thanks,
  9. Pretty cool to see Týr and music from the Faroe Islands represented Here's some other stuff from the Faroe Islands as well SIC - Killing Birth Asyllex - Sodom
  10. Hi, Does anyone know of any member here from Argentina? There are a few items I need bought from Mercade Libre once in a while, but I don't know anyone from the country; I would of course compensate a bit for the help. Thanks
  11. Anyone here, by chance, know who the current/former owner of this is? https://gonintendo.com/stories/359224-extremely-rare-game-watch-demo-units-up-for-auction?fbclid=IwAR2R7wWHw0egMos6IsTuszthBYs7TEXNcW1dgphKFjvGn9oJ0wSnDs4fhYQ Will be way outpriced for me, but we are a few who would love to get more information on this Thanks
  12. Well spotted, I did indeed pick these up in Denmark @fcgamer and @Noobguy Thanks to the both of you for your inputs - A lot of interesting things; I had no idea that Sachens were distributed so widely under so many various names, nor did I have any idea, that they were easier to find in some regions than in others. Really interesting stuff - Thanks
  13. I'm only seeing blue ones of Master Chu (Color dreams version). VGPC doesn't seem to have any recording of a black one. GVN has one recorded black cart, but that's a black color dreams one https://www.ebay.com/itm/283298474888 Hence why I'm a bit of a loss. I agree that probably very few people might care. But I've lucked out a couple of times before with unlicensed black carts; I have a black cart CIB Menace Beach as well, which appears to be hight priced than its' blue counterpart. But again, I'm not very familiar with the unlicensed scene and all its' quirks
  14. @Noobguy Thanks for the feedback I was under the impression they were much rarer, seeing as I couldn't find amy black cart versions on neither eBay nor VGPC...? Unlicensed games have never been my forté though, so I'll have to take your word for it
  15. Any input about a pricepoint on these two? Looking to sell eventually, but not having much luck sourcing info on eBay on black versions of these, and most of the TC011's are labeled Fighting Dragon, not Chinese Kung Fu All input is appreciated Thanks
  16. Leaving Las Vegas, 1995 Starring Nicholas Cage as Ben Sanderson and Elizabeth Shue as Sera Two lines I've always felt were quite strong and deep, and could be interpreted in many ways and in regards to many personal issues and problems and how we choose to overcome them, or to not overcome them. [Ben] I don't know if I started drinking 'cause my wife left me or my wife left me 'cause I started drinking. and [Sera] Is drinking a way of killing yourself? [Ben] Or, is killing myself a way of drinking?
  17. Aye, I don't disagree with you, the phenomena you're describing can be quite tiresome. The difference with Ms. Thunbergs coverage, as i see it, that not only are the "people subscribe to this or that topic on social media or are supposed sit/stand/wear/not wear something to show they're allied to a cause" engulfed in her cause, but also an abundance of other individuals are actively voicing their opinion about how stupid she is, about her diagnosis, about her school, about her privilige, about her not understanding how the world works, about how she should let the adults take care of it, about how her speeches are scripted, about how her sailing trip was a failure, about how she's not a scientis and so on. This, that "everyone" is talking about the subject, whether they agree or not, and whether they like her or not, sparks a completely different impact and awareness on the subject, than what subjects brought forth by the Kims and Kanyes of this world would create. Most people how don't care about the Kims and Kanyes just don't debate about them. "Everyone" debates about ms. Thunberg. She's managed to get attention from all generations and in all form for medias, both old and new. I'm pretty sure that the attention she has received was not of the kind anticipated or hoped, but nonetheless, she has managed to get a LOT of attention for a 16-year old.
  18. Not at all - and that wasn't the point I was trying to convey. The point I was trying to convey was that with the massive media coverage of her, and her unavoidable social media exposure, a large amount of people not even talking about climate change before, have now started to voice their opinion - Whether they agree or not. Just getting this kind of extended exposure on the subject is a very large step in the right way - And might affect generation Z and its' successors more than any other climate activist. That was the point - She's actually not studying, she's finished studying for now - therefore she's not ditching anything. She did ditch school last semester, whilst she was still studying, yes - but that's not the case any more.
  19. Ms. Thunberg has had a huge impact, maybe not in the way she intended, but she definitely has gotten a lot of people to actually watch news about climate subjects and to debate it online (although the debate often is directed at ms. Thunberg herself rather than the subject itself). So just bringing (even more) attention to the subject of climate change in such a way that no-one has managed before, not even mr. Gore with his "An Inconvenient Truth" tour, I'd say she has made quite an impression. That is actually a myth. Most Scandinavian schools are only compulsory up to 9th grade (around the age of 15 or 16), which she has finished. She now has the choice to continue with a higher education or to do something completely different.
  20. Package came from Japan today - Always nice getting stuff from Japan - Always seems like they like to take good care of their stuff. The Mario Bros. with the Pokka logo is a promotional item, where people supposedly had to collect vouchers from the company Pokka and then mail them in to win a Pokka branded Mario Bros. Pokka makes soft drinks, so it kinda links up with the game, where the gameplay consists of Mario and Luigi working at a bottle factory. Supposedly, there only exist 500 Pokka branded Mario Bros. games, but I'm personally skeptical about that figure and believe there are more.
  21. Geez. I've tried my luck googling, but haven't found any reasonable other courier. This sucks. But thanks for confirming If N64 carts cost that much to send overseas, I probably shouldn't complain about my $61 I haven't bought anything from the U. S. in a long time, was cheaper back then. Was hoping to start buying some stuff again, but looks like I'll just have to stick to Europe and Japan... Or start consolidating packages with freight forwarders again, but consolidation tends to lead to buying more stuff thsn you need.
  22. Would've been better to just overnight a PC Engine from Japan. (that's a Dom joke as well...)
  23. Hi, I've ordered a Super CD-ROM2 from an American (Indiana), and he's having trouble finding decent shipping prices for sending it to me (in Denmark). I've been quoted International First Class at $61 as the cheapest possible. I find it quite strange, that I can't find any cheaper option, since I could ship the same package the other way around for less than $20, by air, and that's from a country where services in general are a LOT more expensive than in the U.S. The package is 3 lb and 12 oz. I'm sure there are some people here who regularly ship internationally, so I was hoping someone could give me some advice Thanks
  24. I have a black Menace Beach cartridge, if you're interested in such? (your list doesn't specify whether your looking for cartridges or boxed games) I have no idea what the going rate - Found on sold on eBay, which sold for ~$188 + shipping. So, maybe, $165 with the shipping costs included? Or feel free to make a fair counter-offer if I'm way off
