  1. DaVinci Resolve is great but it is definitely pro-level software.
  2. Lizard is done. One of my all-time favorite homebrews. I would have beaten it in under 45 minutes this time if I hadn't made a few boneheaded mistakes at the end.
  3. And for anyone who missed it, here's our full livestream playthrough of NEScape:

  18. Just our little podcast $0.02 on the, uh, drama this week.
  19. In this totally bonus, eminently skippable episode, Nick and Conor address a couple of wild days in the NES homebrew scene. Do you devour internet drama like it's hot popcorn? This episode is for you. GET THE PODCAST HERE: HBGC Extra: The [Retracted] List of NES Homebrew Games Seth Abramson's Top 100 NES Homebrews (archived version): https://archive.is/QCi8s Response to the list from Sole Goose (Beau Holland): https://www.solegooseproductions.com/?page_id=816
  20. I was wondering about that. I'll see if I can figure out how to view those.
  21. We had someone ask this on Discord also. I know we dropped the explicit tag but I didn't realize there was an audience for this kind of filthy content. If I've got a recording set up where Bart and Conor can't make it I might bring back SMB2 and Lizard cartridge for a three-way conversation... Not sure I'd be able to get a word in edgewise though as those are gonna be some extremely hot takes
  22. Oh, and we're giving away a free digital copy of the excellent Witch n' Wiz for NES, courtesy of Matt Hughson! Just leave us a review on iTunes to enter, and we'll announce the winner during our upcoming Deadeus episode (due January 2022).
