  1. METLOF I've never made meat loaf before. I've never liked it. I've only experienced my mother's rendition, and I did not like that. Very dry. It's not a dish I would typically serve, but for what it is, I like what I did. Juicy and flavorful. I used this recipe for the meat: https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/219171/classic-meatloaf/ Many recipes I read said to top with ketchup or a ketchup-based glaze. I hate ketchup. I don't like vinegar, and I don't like sugar in any context of meat. So I looked up a ketchup recipe, and made my own, omitting vinegar and sugar ingredients. I used this recipe for the ketchup: https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/232397/homemade-ketchup/ Here it is, fresh from the pan and seved on a plate. Overall I think I made a good meat loaf.
  2. I don't see any branding on the shelf, so I don't think it would look weird.
  3. Nice feel for a magazine I never read. They didn't really show much integrity, eh? Interesting to see how the gaming world was too, since I was out of it at that time.
  4. Dang I thought I had one but I don't. Free bump
  5. I'm gonna watch this when I get home
  6. Got my ingredients today and cooking this weekend! Who else is making meat loaf?? I've never made this before!
  7. This is where my mind went. Felix the Cat too, but that was not released in Japan.
  8. I need to get back on that show (not for Gears of War)
  9. Make sure they have the right credit card number!
  10. I get few if any robocalls. Have you submitted your phone number on donotcall to be disallowed from them? I do like to waste their time. I've gotten them at work a few times recently and I say yes I do have (thing you"know" I have that you pretend to help with)! And mess around until they hang up.
  11. It's a major dedication to document this info because if you want to be accurate (otherwise why bother) it involves buying sealed games and opening them. There are lists for NES and Sega Genesis, but I don't know of anyone starting any such major effort for Famicom, here or elsewhere.
  12. Hmm. So you can count me among the people who can't pick only one. When I was a kid, Mega Man 2. I put my tape recorder in front of the TV for that. Now? I'll just say that I've never bought a game soundtrack but I've considered it for TMNT: Shredder's Revenge.
  13. Yes. And his appearence (mustache, overalls) comes solely from needing to delineate the face and motion of his limbs in a 3 color sprite.
  14. He's more coherent than either of our options. Hopefully the winner picks a good cabinet.
  15. Oh, see, it sounded like you were disagreeing with me I'll just stop now lol
  16. Pinball Wizard: It's pretty alright. Nice early rock anthem, but also "there are plenty of better alternatives". Vote: 4, as in, the sound is ok but I would never play it or buy it, and if I was in a radio market that ever played anything I like, I would change the station; but if not I wouldn't. "can i recycle?" yeah, duh you can. Something in the Air: Inoffensive, but boring to the point of grating. Faint praise at best.
  17. That was supposed to be a fakeout that sounds like this movie sucked in my eyes and, punchline!, it doesn't at all and none of those factors I mentioned apply; in fact everything I said is really the opposite, and it's a serious cinematic treasure, 9/10, killer movie, everyone should watch it. I was trying to be original in saying something, and clever and a little funny by making a twist ending, I fail yet again
  18. Sometimes, older movies just feel dated and a little boring. It's really a shame, but there's something off with the pacing, the dialogue is hokey, or the plot is confusing. Having only seen this movie for the first time a few years ago and having no nostalgia factor for it, Not Alien. Voted 9.
