  1. Great cartoon run 'n' gun with some minigames thrown in. I waffled 7 or 8, went 8 because I like it a lot.
  2. I've never liked meatloaf. Every time I've had it it was pretty dry. But I've been reading / researching recipes, and I'm going to try to do it better. The other challenge is making it for one person. I'll need to do some division and adapting. Hope to give it a shot this weekend.
  3. These aren't necessarily my favorites on the list, but the ones I think most stand out as symbolic of their movies. Don't You Forget About Me Eye of the Tiger Ghostbusters Honorable mentions to Danger Zone and Purple Rain.
  4. Gotta say, I never actually checked the price on that other one
  5. I've noticed that I definitely prefer the first, base, default design. That was the impetus for this thread. I feel like there's a reason behind the original color scheme, and its usually better than any alt option.
  6. In games where you pick your character's color scheme or costume, what's your favorite style?
  7. What sequel do you want that never happened? What franchises went way too far?
  8. and even I have a ton of complaints about SS. It should have been amazing. It had a couple of fun moments (I think? can't recall any specific one aside from a joke in a cutscene) but good lord, was the plot tedious, the world structure lame (in several ways!), the collectathon bullshit way too much, the repitition annoying and poorly justified, the items most worthless gimmicks with applications that are puzzles but make no practical sense, Fi being all of the worst things that people hate about Navi, multiplied... I had such high expectations for that game, and they fell so far. It's my 2nd least favorite Zelda tbh
  9. Literally two days ago, I randomly thought about "the NA effect", and concluded no, that's not still a thing. And here we are.
  10. I refuse to believe you of all people have never played this before. On its reputation alone. Waaaaait... You don't like Zelda 3, and you don't like Zelda 1? By process of elimination I wonder what is your opinion of Zelda 2? (my fav) (sorry to all to contribute to the derail lol)
  11. As for me... The last few years, I try and fail to do it myself. I procrastinate, and then I panic, and then I go to a "professional" [temp stripmall storefront like Jackson Hewitt or H&R Block]. (The 3 Ps of mediocre tax filing! Patent Pending.) They're a ripoff.
  12. Yeah that is a lot of crazy shit. Heard a lot of it in various threads but put all together, in tax stuff? Definitely a lot of work.
  13. I knew exactly what you meant, and I have similar feelings about all my stuff too. My point was that its nice to already have something that would be hard to get now if you didn't.
  14. Currently (9h45m remaining). Let's see how much it goes up with last minute snipes. Maybe your comp will significantly improve.
  15. I think they did a great job of localizing that. I always thought the Air Tikis were appropriately named, as something resembling a tiki god. Maybe most kids didn't know what those are, but I had one in my room.
  16. I want to play Punch the Championship.
  17. "The World Court on Friday ordered Israel to take action to prevent acts of genocide as it wages war against Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip, but it stopped short of calling for an immediate ceasefire." https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/world-court-rule-urgent-measures-gaza-genocide-case-2024-01-26/
  18. Yeah but Temple of the Dog and I think there was another band.
  19. Even Flow: 1. Fuck everything (besides the Ticketmaster fight) about Pearl Jam from Ten onwards, with a sideways pitchfork. And I've never had any interest in checking out the earlier stuff. I didn't know what the title of this song referred to until I clicked this thread. I gave it until Vedder started singing and said "oh, that one" Black Hole Sun: 7. I always liked this song and it's one of few I welcome when it comes on the radio. I sold my Superunknown >20 years ago and never missed it. I should give it another chance.
  20. Got(chy) mine! Thanks @Gotchy1! I love the warning on the back BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE! The back label on the cart is really cool, too. Slick.
