In 96 I was part owner of 5 Video Rental Stores in CA. Everyone got an N64 for Christmas and wanted to rent games. I had no idea how popular it would be and only had 4 of each title per store (could have bought as many per title as I wanted before December). Well if you remember no one had games for sale and my customers were very sad. I hate the N64 to this day. Every time I see one it reminded me of the weeks after Christmas and all the calls and requests to hold games when they came in. No one ever brought them back, just re-rented or said they lost it and paid me for the game. It was madness!

All mysteries solved with this and the SML E auction! I can finally sleep easy!

Just finished Ready Player Two. Not as good as the first but an easy fun read. He set it up for a side book staring the low five and their quest. I bet he is a fan of Orson Scott Card. Felt like he was setting up a Enders Shadow type side book.

I am picking my own collection name as stated in another thread. My 8,000 CIB game collection is “That Assholes Collection” Once again, every last game has been rubbed on my genitals (some more than once!) It is the trade mark of my collection. Now to share the news with Wata!

I think I solved the Mouse trap hotel Electrobrain only cart issue. Though it does raise a question why the R release before the TM release? So Electrobrain released this game first for MB. Then MB released it them selves, then Electrobrain again with the -1. This is supported by the date codes on the boxes. Electrobrain first release 20904, MB release 30208 and last -1 Electrobrain 981028. The USA release date was October of 1992, so the Electrobrain box code fits with that.

There are not as many as you think. No, not that many. Nintendo was very erratic with this specific variant.
