  1. I almost pulled the trigger on a sealed DKC 1 right before the boom. I passed, thinking I'd scoop it up in the future when I was in a better place financially. Now I'm in that place, but the game is farther beyond reach than ever
  2. Ah, yes, the Deniz recipe for success. Time to hit them garage sales at 4:45 instead of 5!
  3. Any NES/360 games in particular? Cart only? CIB? Etc.
  4. Makes sense market is cooling rn with the economy in the shitter. All those people who were coasting on unemployment are probably selling cheap to try and ride it out a little longer
  5. Definitely rare, but by no means should it out price a high graded matte sticker SMB. Or many, many other NES titles. I think that's the thing about it... it was never that SM 64 at that grade was a dime a dozen, but that many more highly historical games should have been at the top of the bidding wars.
  6. Finally! Anyone got some good 1/1's!? Now just waiting on dvd style games
  7. Flattening game boxes always feels wrong to me. Maybe it's because I'm afraid they'll lose their shape, have increased chance of extra creasing, etc.
  8. Well, the box itself got a 9.2, which really isn't that high. The A+ for the seal would be the odd part. If they were going to detract for that, it would reflect in the letter grade.
  9. This is so bad ass. Are there archives of NES, Sega, etc. to your knowledge? Anyways, it's so refreshing just to see someone share info without asking for some type if compensation.
  10. BotW Luigis Mansion Donkey Kong Country 2 Earthbound Mario Kart 64
  11. A few thoughts on no particular side... Loose action figures get grades, too. This is obviously really stupid, but it was pretty much inevitable. The winning bid doesn't even cover grading cost, so I don't see this ever being lucrative for common games, but maybe rare titles. People trying to compile high grade CIB might purchase high grade carts to bump up their overall grade.
  12. They created a whole separate PayPal account using my original email and password, and changed my original paypal email address and password to a bogus one. All that was on the new account was my name. There was a fake phone number and mailing address on that one.
  13. Good news is I use different passwords for most everything. But what doesn't make sense is they would've had to have my email, email password too, which are all different. Is it that easy to figure that shit out? I never login anywhere with that email.
  14. Anyone have this happen before on paypal? They must've gotten into my email account first, but all they did with my paypal was change the email address, home address, phone number, and upgrade to a business account type. No transactions ran. What would be the purpose of this? Obviously I've changed all my passwords now, but surely they were trying to scavenge some info
  15. Thanks! And yes @Mega Tank, that summarizes my question better. And, to add, what were the cutouts like for the SNES one?
  16. This is a really good point. Easy to poke fun at the whole experience, but could be a longterm detriment to the hobby if more instances arise.
  17. Does anyone know what the standard foam inserts looked like for SNES console Travel Master rental case? Or was there a standard? I was wondering also if Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, etc. had different ones. Pics and info of any you have would be helpful!
  18. Whoa, hopefully they intended to slap a big seizure warning on this thing
  19. Dude took us to the Go Beyond for sure
  20. Jeff before he was Super And the ducks are there!
  21. Anyone plan on bidding on this? If so PM me.
  22. I am torn between bidding on this or not... I hate to be a part of inflating the price of a Jeff, but I also don't want Jeff to end up in the wrong hands.
