  5. Introduction: We are using this section to house the Leaderboard for Homebrews and their discussion. The scoreboard will be organized by console > Game Name > Score, much like the other Leaderboards on VGS. This leaderboard can also be used for speedruns. You must be a member on VideoGame Sage and provide proof of score or time completed by either image or video. This is very much a work in progress and will expand as time goes on, so discussion and suggestions are much appreciated. Submission of scores: Either post below with the attached image/video (or a link to it), provide a link if you posted that information elsewhere on VGS, or send me a PM with the required information. Proof of score must show the entire screen. Display of scores: Username (clickable), Score (link to proof), Mode (if applicable), and Date (submission of). If multiple categories are required, they will be created (I.e. Top Score, Speedrun, Any% Speedrun, etc.). Top three scores will be displayed per listing. User's top score will be used and not multiple scores per listing. I.e. your personal best will be used. Rules: No cheat codes, cheating devices, turbo controllers, modified games, or save states are allowed. FPGA consoles, clone systems, and emulators are okay.
  6. @Mugi Looks great and I have been following your updates on twitter. I agree it should be released. If you don't want to take on the self-publishing yourself, there are several people who do publishing. Including, 6502 Collective (Solegoose + Tim from Retrotainment), InfiniteNES Lives, RetroUSB, and others)
  7. Looking for: NES - Super Bat Puncher Demo Turbografx /PCE - Rondo of Blood complete PSX - Wipeout Long Box (CIB) - Raiden Project Long Box (CIB) - Ridge Racer Long Box (CIB) Previous items
  8. She is the codirector of the Videogame History Foundation. She was answering people asking if the foundation could buy the prototype. The short of it was, they don't have that kind of money and even if they did, $3M could buy a hell of a lot of historical items over just one prototype.
  9. Very true. At least it wasn't always the same plan to end the world. Spoilers about SO2:
  10. Star Ocean Second Story, besides you know the pending end of the planet.
  11. There could be more, but no one else has come foward or it was the only one to leave Sony.

    Halcyon

The Mad Wizard had a similar condition. I think Rob solved it well. Instead of the demo being a slice of the final game, he reconfigured the demo to be a smaller area where you explore, pick up all the abilities, and then fight a boss. I don't know if this would work for you or if you think it would be worth the investment to do though.
  13. Welcome aboard M-Tee. Glad you joined.
  14. It is a crazy piece of history. The thing is though, you can't do much with it. No games were made for it, to my knowledge. It can play SNES carts though. It is definitely very valuable, as being the only known prototype, but I can not fathom it being worth millions.
  15. He is looking for $3M. Had to go back and look for it to confirm I wasn't misremembering.
  16. @8bitsupremacy Why are your books upside down?
  17. By console, then by Homebrew vs licensed, and then alphabet. Edit: Boxes are random by NES
  18. I thought the meme was about where the grip is, top or bottom, not about organization.
  19. If we are not going to make one that lives on the site, NES World has a pretty good one. https://www.nesworld.com/article.php?system=nes&data=neshomebrew

    Aspect Star N

I am pretty sure it is a port of her own game. If you check out her itch.io page, she made several projects in the Aspect family. Aspect Star 2, mentions it is the sequel to Aspect Star, and provides a link. The link however is a dead link that leads to her blog main page that no longer has that entry. Edit: From Nicole Express:
  21. Pretty sure it is at a point where we can start using "Paprium" as an adjective to describe projects that end up like it. As in, did you hear the Atari VCS pulled a Paprium.
