Today I've been seeing disagreements on some sealed third party genesis games that CGC has recently graded as people are saying they are reseals. These things will happen from time to time in any hobby that involves grading. VGA is great for grading everything and am glad that I can get consoles, accessories graded with them, just wish they would get their turnaround under control (it has been improving as of late), release pop reports, and have online submissions. Def understand the unification and VGA's cases are sleek and look great, I do miss the days where I had an exclusive VGA collection.

Any time I hear of a fake VGA game, I immediately think of the Halo CE black label reseals they graded (to provide an example). VGA was my go to for a long time but with competition they have not kept up with the curve. WATA is my favorite with CGC in 2nd and VGA all the way down to the 3rd.

Glad you were able to reproduce what I'm seeing, so it's not just me. Interesting.

It's weird, on the US site I don't see the Video Games category when searching for CGC. It's been going on 5 or so days now and is frustrating.

Anyone else having issues when searching for CGC video games on eBay?

The way WATA grades now seems consistent as before they started pumping orders out faster. Mistake wise I've had one instance recently where the flips of my games were swapped and they took care off that quickly. All in all my recent orders have been gone very smooth.

I miss everyone from back in NA's heyday, I wish it would come back but alas. I'm thankful we have VGS and that some of us have made our way back!

Exactly, I'm getting Turbo orders graded within in a few days of arriving at WATA. Loving it!

Awesome Zelda! Here is a thread with some pics of the new cases. They will be polycarbonate and no longer acrylic which make the cases very strong and resistance to breaking. Also horizonal games will now have horizontal cases!

I don't have a concrete timeline for when the polycarbonate holders will start being used but I'd guess sometime in the second quarter. For replacing old holders with the new one, I have heard there will be a special of some sort for upgrading to the new holders.

WATA is about to start using a new case design, at some point this year. What they are using now will become the legacy holders I believe.

It's relatively easy to crack a case to get the game out. I just recently cracked a CGC video game case with a hammer and screw driver without issue and would recommend watching a video on YouTube and see how they are cracking out comics since there isn't one for video games yet. For WATA it's easier you can smash the top flip on the front and back where the tabs are. After a few good hits you should be able to pull the flip right off. See getthegregs YouTube Short on cracking a WATA case. VGA not sure, haven't cracked on. Just take your time and watch YouTube if needed

Not bad at all, how do these grades line up with your expectations? The more I grade with them I feel they are a bit tougher than WATA. Always been a fan of game gear, still have mine from childhood. I should probably start collecting it at some point!

Yea for sure, it has also turned me off buying expensive PS3 and Whatnot as a whole as well. I also have one of the AOT final battles and when I did my initial check over I didn't find anything distinguishing about the reprint, I think it should have something to distinguish imo but it doesn't appear to. Once I had listed the Syberia Collection, some where asking is this the reprint and that's when I found out about it and what to look for to spot a reprint.

Yes, it's easy to tell between the prints, the THQ Nordic logo isn't on the front of first print. Wish I knew about the 2nd print before I bought it as I paid first print pricing for it. Live and learn.

Received response back about my damaged case. Here is the process for resolving a case damaged in transit and its relatively painless! You have 14 days to send a Mechanical Error submission or you will need to pay for a recase. Create a new submission Select Mechanical Error as Primary Service Select Pre-Paid FedEx label as CGC will pay for shipping/insurance Complete Checkout without having to spend a dime Ship to CGC
