A couple of other things that I find odd - certainly room service would have delivered sealed  bottles so the "customers"  should have noticed that one wasn't.  And since she was presumably drinking from a full bottle  there would be some visible, er, residue since I doubt whoever "presumably" did this would not have had access to a centrifuge. And they seem to have a ready made litany of dubious accusations* lined up about the hotel being staffed with sexual perverts.   Not to mention the whole thing being so traumatic that it screwed up their intimate lives - which IMHO means that had to be on really  shaky ground to begin with - makes a weird  (and handy) excuse for monetary damages though.

The thing smells like a several days dead wharf rat lying in a sewer.

*A sure sign of a jackleg (IMHO).

3 Dunkin Donuts employees arrested after allegedly threatening customer

https://www.yahoo.com/news/3-dunkin-donuts-employees-arrested-221353420.html

Police said the girlfriend tried to order doughnuts. The woman told police that the employee was rude, and when she asked to speak to the manager, the employee on the other end of the intercom said he was the manager, using explicit language, police said.

Police said the woman drove toward the drive-thru window when one employee walked out of the back of the store, followed by two other employees. During this altercation, the three employees brandished handguns, police said.

Police also said one of the three employees chambered a round, pointed the gun at the male customer and said, “Ya’ll gonna die.” Police have arrested 17-year-old Jesus Dominguez, 20-year-old Luis Arturo Dominguez and 19-year-old Elijah Richard Garcia. All were charged with aggravated assault and given a $100,000 bond.

I know this has happened before but I still think it is really really funny whenever it happens.

Didn't these ninnies ever watch a bank heist movie - why is there always a getaway driver in them who, like I don't know, say stays in the car so it is running when they need it - and maybe keep it from getting stolen?

Sounds as asinine as this --

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel-related_animal_conspiracy_theories

In 2013, a kestrel was subjected to medical examinations at Firat University in Turkey after being identified as an "Israeli spy". Birds (as well as other animals) are often tagged with GPS tracking devices or identification bands to record their movements for animal migration tracking and similar reasons.

In medieval Europe it was not uncommon for animals to be put on trial for various "crimes" - they were usually given a lawyer to represent them!

Goat detained over armed robbery

https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSTRE50M4XT/

Police in Nigeria are holding a goat on suspicion of attempted armed robbery.
Vigilantes took the black and white beast to the police saying it was an armed robber who had used black magic to transform himself into a goat to escape arrest after trying to steal a Mazda 323.

"We cannot confirm the story, but the goat is in our custody. We cannot base our information on something mystical. It is something that has to be proved scientifically, that a human being turned into a goat," he said.

Something proved scientifically... that a human being, turned... into a goat? Ummm...

A film about it just wouldn't work - "The Billy Goats Gruff Gang" just doesn't have the same impact as "The Doberman Gang".

If nothing else it proves you are a scrappy person............

On that note, and I'm sure VERY unpopular opinion, I actually LIKED Scrappy-Doo.  Mainly because he was so much of what Scooby was not and thus they played off each other perfectly, I thought.  Of course my FAVORITE Scooby-Doo characters by far were the Globetrotters!  And please for the love of God ditch those AWFUL black uniforms and go back to your signature red/white/blue duds...I mean what's next they're gonna make the ball and wristbands black also? 😞

Yeah, forgive me, I do go off on tangents sometimes...

Muhammad is "fully autonomous" and did not deviate from his "expected behavior," the makers said.

This is coming from a country where women were given the right to drive only in 2018! Also, women can't play sports or travel without permission from a "male guardian"... is anyone surprised that the robot did not deviate from expected behavior in such a country!

2 men charged with blowing up woman's home, planning to use large python to eat her daughter

https://abcnews.go.com/US/2-men-charged-blowing-womans-home-planning-large/story?id=108073142

Two men have been charged after allegedly bombing a woman's home and planning to release "a large python into the victim's home to eat the victim's daughter," according to prosecutors.

Stephen Glosser, 37, and Caleb Kinsey, 34 -- both from Richmond Hill, Georgia -- are alleged to have used electronic communications to place the unnamed woman under surveillance from December 2022 until January 2023 "with the intent to kill, injure, harass, or intimidate," before using an explosive device to blow up her home, according to a statement from the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Georgia.
