Homeland Security investigators found Nasyrova's DNA all over the cheesecake box – and determined the slice had been laced with the Soviet-era sedative drug, Phenazepam – the same drug found in the pills scattered around Tsvyk's room, according to authorities. Nasyrova pleaded guilty in a separate case to attempted petit larceny in Brooklyn Supreme Court in 2019, following allegations she drugged and robbed men she met on dating apps. She is also accused of drugging and killing her neighbor in Russia, torching the body and fleeing to New York. Along with the four staff members leading the trip, around 42 passports were destroyed. The Kancamagus Lodge, where the students had stayed during the trip, did not appear to have any explanation for why they had shredded the passports other than it had happened by mistake. WEIRD! First off, shouldn't your passport always be in your hands when you visit a country. Secondly, how in the F does ANYONE, in particular a place of lodging, "accidentally shred" a passport?
