I am without a doubt 100% absolutely positive you are talking about the Dread Zeppelin cover from 1990's multiplatinum smash album 5,000,000.00.  Better than the original.

The odd thing about it is that it continued to get lots and lots of airplay long after its initial release.  I think for some odd reason it charted in 2007 - likely due to the increasing popularity of digital downloads at that time.

It did make the digital download Billboard chart then, but I heard this tidbit before digital downloads (at least paid ones) were a thing.   Some group called Far Corporation's cover hit the top 100 here.

I did say he was a bridge troll - a lot depends on what the goats he has waylaid were carrying when he grabbed them. (And the Stones did have an album called Goat's Head Soup....)

Stones was my first concert back in in '88 on the Steel Wheels tour.  Living Colour opened.

Are they overplayed? Sure but that's maybe 10% of the tons of good tunes they put out.  Legends.
