Paid $25 for the lot. I asked and the guy originally said “not for sale” but immediately followed with “well you have to buy them all and I haven’t been able to go through them”. I’m think he is gonna say $100, to my surprise he comes back with $25.

he said he buys at estate sales and I think he knew he had something but the dude was older and probably still had a flip phone if that. I could have stayed and picked at that sale all day. I picked up the belt buckles, cd’s, halo toys and dare folder all at the same sale. The shoe box on the bottom had 1000 cards in it if I had to guess. I’m still scanning.

That Invasion box takes me back. That and 7th edition was when I first got into MtG.

My favorite find of the day. I didn’t really care for the amp but that 6 disc changer boi! Am I right @JamesRobot

Airtight.  I had a friend that had one of those installed in his pickup truck 20 some years ago.

Here's my Sony 5 disc carousel.

watched a couple other rats dig around this (it’s a tactic I use sometimes. I’ll let other rats dig for me and come behind to scavenge the crumbs left behind). Unbelievably it has all the pieces and in good condition. Looks like I can pocket $205902A3DD-6644-4AF2-A33B-B7376FEFA308.thumb.jpeg.f466c51167884b7e8dd4b1e5ecc303c4.jpeg

Not sure how I've never caught this thread before, but I love all of the A/V pickups.  Do you keep everything together or have any pics?  I would love to collect older A/V equipment, but of course I have no room for such things, however, I have a few cool pieces of my own,

It’s all in the attic right now lol. I have the CD player amp combo in the game room with a couple Yamaha bookshelf speakers. I don’t have room for the stuff either lol but I can’t help it when I see it for cheap I can’t help but grab it.

If I was finding the stuff as cheap as you were, I would probably be grabbing it to despite the lack of room.

Everything in this picture is hooked up and ready to use.  The Sony turntable on top was a Goodwill find for about $20 and was like new out of the box.  The Pioneer laserdisc player was also a Goodwill find for $8.  Everything was was purchased new.

From top to bottom

  • Sony turntable
  • Not seen, but next to the turntable is a Sony DMPort iPod player
  • Pioneer Laserdisc player
  • Sony DVD player (720p/1080i)
  • Sony VHS player/recorder
  • Sony DVD recorder
  • Sony 7.1 channel amp/receiver (HDMI switcher and converts composite and component to 1080p)
  • Sony dual cassette deck
  • Sony 300 disc CD changer

A couple weeks ago I picked up a rubber band launcher with double loop for free as well. Kids loved it.

Had a decent track when the boy was younger. He wasn't that interested.  The girl is kind of into cars.  Maybe I can make it work.
