Tyree_Cooper | 719
in rayman 3, i remember the bonus levels with rayman (or globox?) on the snowboard in those 70s druggy spacey levels always wanted to replay them one day unfortunately the rest of the game wasn't as epic as rayman 2, which was amazing when it came out. remember playing it on the n64 back in the days

RH | 4,817
When I get a chance to go into thrift shops and I'm looking for misplaced PS1 titles in the CDs, it's very, very hard not to collect music. Alas, if I did, I'd have walls and walls of CDs and no place to put my games. That Ace of Base was a nice pick up.
drxandy | 3,213
I actually collect CDs and always hope to find ps1 games too. You can def see a pattern to what was popular over time periods, pretty interesting. The very few times they're in there it's always like Madden, haha
docile tapeworm | 4,168
@RH @drxandy it all started with tragic kingdom a few years ago. I can’t pass up a good cd anymore. It’s not like I’m gonna be able to get records on the cheap…. Edited April 12, 2022 by docile tapeworm

docile tapeworm | 4,168
$1 for both hats. The Nola bucket hat transitions the next pick up lol $2 for the cd @JamesRobot check out the no limit stuff lol that c nursed would be like $35 in nice shape this one is a little banged up. Still nice pick ups. $10 for this stuff. Don’t know if I can clean up the bud buckle. I couldn’t leave the dare folder. $25 for the whole bin of magic cards already made my $ back just from the first box. No foils but still a shitload of cards. $1 for the ps4 controller. I pulled it out of a toy box and I think the lady thought it was a toy and the finale I didn’t steal it but not a bad deal at all. Same lady had to call her husband he said $110 but settled on the $80. Mario kart was in the soul calibur case I couldn’t be to upset about that Edited April 29, 2022 by docile tapeworm 3

docile tapeworm | 4,168
Update on those magic cards. I have pulled about 10 cards worth around $700 combined. Here are two of the gems I have pulled so far. I still have some left to go through. these two are worth around $250/per in good condition raw. The one on the right was “damaged” condition had a compromised corner. But have sold it already for $100. I got them from an older couple and the conversation was just as cool. I was thinking of flipping it but how can I not strut down Panama City beach with this hat on and my 80’s portable Panasonic radio next time I’m at the beach….I mean ….. I have to. I have a tough time people still "throw away" old video games, but at this point what hole do you have your head buried in if you're selling ooooold MtG cards at a yard sale? I mean, if you know anything about hot collectibles from any news site, there are two things to pay attention too--pokemon and MtG?!

I asked and the guy originally said “not for sale” but immediately followed with “well you have to buy them all and I haven’t been able to go through them”. I’m think he is gonna say $100, to my surprise he comes back with $25. he said he buys at estate sales and I think he knew he had something but the dude was older and probably still had a flip phone if that. I could have stayed and picked at that sale all day. I picked up the belt buckles, cd’s, halo toys and dare folder all at the same sale. The shoe box on the bottom had 1000 cards in it if I had to guess. I’m still scanning. 1
docile tapeworm | 4,168
This was in Panama City but I’m in a rural area about 30 miles west and I have come across other totes of magic cards I probably should have picked up. I offered $25 for a similar tote but the lady said naaaaah I think they are worth $$$$ I prob could have hit them for $40 but didn’t have the knowledge at that time.
