Movie Debate #142: Die Hard 2

Haven't seen this since it first came out, but I remember enjoying it and would like to see it again. There's just so many other things to do with my time.

Out of the first 4 Die Hard movies (the only ones I'm familiar with), it's probably the weakest, but it's still a pretty decent movie.  I have a lot of good memories watching this movie on TV and laughing at the dubbing over the swear words.

My wife and I watch the original Die Hard trilogy every Christmas season. Die Hard 2 is the weakest of those, but it's still pretty good.

One of the greatest Christmas movies of all time right up there with the original.  I don't see how anyone could consider this a weak entry in the franchise, it straight rivals the first one and has a better reveal about 2/3 through the movie.  Plus the T1000 is in it.  

It's all downhill after Die Harder.  Vengeance is still pretty great with a strong performance from Sam Jackson but they drop off pretty hard after that.

I only saw the first Die Hard for the first time a few years ago in an online viewing party around Xmas time lol.

My wife introduced me to the Die Hard series (just as she did for Star Trek and Gomer Pyle and...) and I think it's cool that the first two movies have Officer Carl Winslow before he was...well...Officer Carl Winslow!
