Console Debate #4: Gamecube

Gamecube was one I never really played much at all. I know everyone gets Nintendo consoles for the 1st party games, but this was during a period of time where every 3rd party game for it would also come out for PS2 ... even some of those capcom "exclusives"

The GameCube is a 10/10 for me. It is my favorite console of all time. It’s mostly tied to nostalgia, as this is the console I mainly grew up with, but the games I have for this system are amazing. The controller is the best one I’ve ever used.

Must be something special about GameCube as it’s the only controller that got officially re-released for 2 systems after  GameCube. And it’s compatible with all systems after GameCube so far. Cant say that about the wiimote

I didn't get a chance to vote in this poll, but would have given it around a 6.5 or 7.  It was the console that brought me back to console gaming after being exclusively in PC gaming for about 6 or 7 years.  But, after getting the GC and having many college pals playing Halo 1 over system link networking, I moved promptly over to the original XBox soon after.  

Nowadays, my GameCube is mostly used to play GameBoy games with the attached GameBoy Player peripheral.
