  1. So sorry for the dark turn in advance, but here is a glimpse into a lot of healthcare workers' minds right now (we never admit it). At first it was almost a celebratory feeling watching case counts and deaths pile up due to sheer ignorance and disregard for obvious truths (Florida and Texas). Then you see the kids someone left behind, a spouse, etc and that snaps you right back into reality. The only positive outcome from obvious anti-mask people dying is when it causes others to reflect and realize they were wrong. Until this country has more than 70% of our citizens wearing masks in public, it could be someone you know in the hospital dying. Just something to think about when you celebrate someone's death.
  2. So from what we have seen, it "may" help, but early research indicates it does not. I can't definitively tell you it does not at all though, because we would need to study for a year with all the right conditions. My take on this is that hydroxychloroquine is typically prescribed for people with some debilitating health problems, a few examples being lupus, skeletal and tissue disorders, sever rheumatoid arthritis, etc. I think it is irresponsible to waste it on Covid-19 patients while we aren't positive it will have any impact on their recovery. We experienced a shortage of hydroxychloroquine in March during the beginning due to over prescribing of hydroxychloroquine all based on a hunch. Gun to my head, I would say it doesn't work (so my answer looks less like a sleazy politicians).
  3. I can't unquote you Link, but we have seen heart and lungs damage in patients of all ages, twenties to senior citizens. Just remember this isn't a big deal though everyone, you just have some potential life-threatening /shortening consequences from a virus with a low death rate
  4. Just stay safe and continue safe practices are all we can ask for, and we really do appreciate people who are taking this seriously. I am seeing more people wearing masks here, but only because it's been mandated statewide now. Too bad this should have been done back in May when everything reopened, but what do medical professionals know
  5. It just makes me laugh at this point. People still don't want to listen either. Fuck them

    PS5

Xbox for me as well, mostly due to Halo and game pass. I eventually bought a PS4 a year ago when they were cheap to play the 5 or so games I felt like I missed out on. It just wasn't worth $400 to me for a few games.
  7. Yeah our governor has been a limp dick moron other than his stance in March, which got him national praise and acclaim. If you want to shit on the economy open it with no restrictions while a highly contagious virus with some nasty potential side effects is running rampant. I'm assuming we can be a bit more loose with language here, if not mods let me know!
  8. Uncle Donald is going to win. It's like the Democrats really don't care at this point, anybody besides Hilary in 2106 and they would have won (I voted Uncle Don mostly because it was Hilary and was foolishly hoping he'd drain the swamp). Now they send out Joe, I feel like a lot of the smaller guys in the democratic primaries could have made a better president than either of our two main options.
  9. Genius analogy. You're a brilliant guy and should be in marketing if you aren't!
  10. Your dad sounds like a smart man if he's wearing feet Mercedes
  11. So you're saying BLM doesn't want everyone person to be treated the same by the police?
  12. Sure thing man, they definitely don't want everyone to be treated the same. You've totally convinced me now. On topic make sure you guys check out the New Balance shoes club @Gloves is starting.
  13. You could still go now. One of the best pharmacists I work with didn't go to school until a decade after she finished undergrad.
  14. You're speaking like BLM is an individual, I'd be willing to bet 90% of them agree with you on innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The media however doesn't care at all and will destroy your life without factual evidence (that's something that needs fixed)
  15. Why didn't you go to grad school? There has to be a reason other than debt, you can easily find a job to get rid of that debt quickly.
  16. The depressing thing is this dude has a really good chance of being reelected...even with the Chinese style abductions of US citizens
  17. People get offended too easily today Flintstones Dino Peak is a much better game than Little Samson
  18. I think the point was to compare to the Trader Joe's brands (not sure though) but I agree with you here. Two wrongs don't make a right as we all learned growing up.
  19. It's strange because up here in Summit and Cuyahoga it is the opposite because we're getting hit much worse. I hope that doesn't become the case down by you, but if people from nearby areas that are much worse come into stores in Clermont I'm sure that's going to be what happens. @captmorgandrinker idk why I can't delete this @
  20. I am and am not at the same time. It seems like scoring political points is almost more important than public health and safety, but is confusing because of how well Dewine initially reacted back in March.
  21. Ohio starts mandatory masks today, which it's about time. I feel bad for any of you who may be teachers or work in schools in any capacity. Hopefully they are able to figure something out, but half of the states seem to not really believe in science so I'm sure a safe solution will be non-existent.
  22. I don't wanna be the one to give you bad news, but check out taco bells upcoming menu changes (what they are getting rid of)
  23. Don't @me bro, it was more a jab at our Canadian brothers besides the fact that it's figure skating with a stick
  24. Nintendo has been pretty pathetic since the GameCube days ended 90% of the United States is painfully stupid Hockey and Football aren't sports
