  1. @Crabmaster2000 We're going backwards! I will work on Airwolf this weekend...
  2. I'm curious what your support for this assertion is. Beef bacon is very easily distinguishable from pork, and I never once had it over there. I would guess in predominately Islamic countries it's a thing, so maybe it has some inroads in the more strictly Islamic parts of Indonesia?
  3. Asia does not do bacon correctly. You'll get a flaccid, circular looking rasher type thing instead of a nice crisp straight slice of American bacon. Living in Asia for 5 years, the only real bacon I could get was either at a legitimate Western type hotel buffet, or a Western-style restaurant that happened to have it on a burger. Even at these venues, it was still unusual.
  4. I probably won't get to it until next weekend, but I'll give Airwolf a try. There are only a couple of unclaimed games left I have any chance of beating at this point - the 3 remaining Garry Kitchen games (I think there are up for grabs?) and Airwolf.
  5. Bill & Ted's Excellent Video Game Adventure is done. It takes a while to figure out wtf is going on and the whole phone number thing is really dumb and pointless. Still, I beat it in about 7 hours with the walkthrough.
  6. Nope, just a guy who appreciates some of the most perfectly designed games ever created.
  7. Dice / board: backgammon Card / board: cribbage Card: contract bridge Other games are pale imitations
  8. I picture him arresting the historical figures in his Steven Seagal: Lawman persona while making the minimal amount of movement possible I chose this avatar since a podcast I listen to (Action Boyz) rips on Seagal and mentioned the weird photo op with the President of Belarus and random produce items.
  9. @bronzeshield Go ahead with Bases Loaded. I'll work through Bill & Ted but I'm definitely using a walkthrough
  10. There seem to be a lot of games semi-reserved. Is anyone actively working on or has at least claimed Bill & Ted? I've never played it before, but can it really be that bad? I can probably get into some of the other flight games, but I need a break. If Bill & Ted is taken, I could try Bases Loaded (again, if it's not claimed yet).
  11. @scaryice HERE'S YOUR DAMN PARADE This game is just boring and awful. No replay value at all for me.
  12. I realized by watching TMR's playthrough that you can land at base and take off again within the same sortie, so I have a plan for beating the game now. I've almost unlocked the secret missions.
  13. Hi @scaryice, I need another adjudication on F-117 Stealth Fighter. I beat all the 6 primary missions in the manual. Is that sufficient? That would be the requirement analogous to F-15 Strike Eagle. Edit: Never mind, I looked at TMR's playthrough and apparently there is an ending sequence after beating the secret missions, so I guess I need to do that?
  14. I started with a 360, then keep doing 30s until you have just enough space for a 60, and repeat, and don't wash out at the end. Got me an 8.6
  15. I agree, but them'z the rules now. Anyway, I just spent 1/2 hour getting an uncoordinated chick to dive for a frisbee and freakin catch it. Verdict: Disc Golf is pretty painful to WR; Surfing is hard but not too bad with some practice; the other 4 are really easy assuming you RTFM. @scaryice California Games is done now
  16. Read the manual Just press A at the lip and hold a bit to do a hand plant. I got all the WRs except the freaking disc golf now.. The chick can't catch worth a damn
  17. Ok ok.. The half pipe and the hacky sack were actually the easiest for me. I'm pretty sure I can beat all the WRs with an hour or two more of work.
  18. Well, that was an easy clear then. Didn't get a pic this time since I wasn't sure if that was the correct win screen.
  19. @scaryice - is it necessary to beat all the World Records in California games, or just do "1) Compete In All Events" and get 1st place in total? I finished all the events already and ended up 1st, but only got 3 WRs.
  20. Target TOASTED! F-15 Strike Eagle is done. It was not hard at all, but rather an exercise in tedium. I beat all 7 missions including Baghdad and became the highest rank of General, so that should be sufficient. The first photo is after the last Kuwait mission to score points to unlock Baghdad, and the second is beating the Baghdad mission. I will work on California Games since it doesn't seem that bad.
  21. All right, NESfiend, I hope you don't think I am a scumbag for taking your game, but World Games is done. The WRs for each event are pretty easy to beat.
  22. Looking at his filmography, I just realized he is Himmelstoss, the training NCO in 1979's All Quiet on the Western Front, which I've seen probably 5 times and never placed him before. I'll also give a shoutout to Big Night since he was great in that too and it's an underrated movie in general.
  23. Oh wow, I just realized that this is a port of Epyx World Games. I used to play the shit out of that as a kid on the PC. I loved the log rolling and caber toss. It's either a bad port or just so generic sounding that no one picked it yet. I'll keep that in mind for next year.
  24. I haven't made much progress on F-15 Strike Eagle yet, but I should have plenty of time to work on it this weekend. Looks like the goal of hitting 650 by June 30th is pretty doable at this point.
