  1. More new stuff. My office is a mess right now, I've pulled in more big hauls than I usually would. Just a crazy few weeks. First up is a couple Pokemon writing books from Japan: A couple strategy guides, the SMB2 guide is an upgrade: Here's more stuff I pulled out of a recent local haul. The first two GBA games are sealed, the thing with PS2 on it just has a blank notedpad inside, I think it's an employee only item because there's no retail info on it, the guy I got it from used to work at an electronics store during the PS2 era! Some VHS and DVDs, random stuff, Video Game Invasion is hosted by Tony Hawk, go figure: A BattPoke (no discs but the launcher works) and a random electronic pinball toy I haven't tested yet: And an ALS industries GBA carrying case and an old Tiger Electronics Family Feud game. And then the Bolt for DS was an eBay find, it's just a not-so-common later printing: The next picture is... a couple hauls worth of GB games, plus a Tetris I won in an auction and a Donkey Kong NES Classics for GBA that I found via FB Marketplace. I did not plan to buy a bunch of GB games last month, it was just some opportunities came along and I had to take them. I am a sucker for these square boxes, there's no helping that. And lastly, another local haul. Last one for now!
  2. So the past few years I've been buying stuff from a local collector that doesn't want to deal with the hassle of selling lots of stuff online or through FB marketplace and doesn't want to get lowballed by local game stores. I met him after he posted a pile of stuff for sale in a local collecting group and I gave him a decent offer for it. Each year he does a purge of his collection and I usually pay about 40-60% of what the stuff would go for online. I don't make a lot of money this way but it's one of the few opportunities I have to get a lot of stuff to sift through at a nice price. And this guy is mostly a thrift / Goodwill / clearance collector, meaning it's a lot of stuff that isn't in the best shape but there can be some really cool items in there. Anyway, my past couple big hauls have been from him since he's doing a big purge this year and the next item I just picked up is something he wasn't planning to sell but it was in one of the photos he showed me and I asked about it. I even told him look, if I was you I wouldn't sell it, but if you are open to it I'll buy it. After a couple weeks he has a change of heart and says I can buy it. I paid $150 for this. It's bigger than I thought. I actually thought it was one of the floor shelves things you see at Best Buy but no. Turns out this guy works weekends at Target and this is something he picked up on the job. It even comes with the printout that shows how to stock the thing. My friends, this thing is about 5.5 feet tall. It has wheels. It's heavy. And I love it. Loaded into the van, you know it's serious when it takes up two rows. The tower in all its glory. It's symmetrical, so there's another row of shelving on the opposite side. And you can see the reverse artwork in the mirror, the SMW3D World + Bowser's Fury logo. And here's the printout showing how to stock the thing. It's officially a "Rolling Corrugate In-Store POG." How'd I do?
  3. These 3 listings were all posted by the same seller today
  4. Yes I have this version. I went and ordered it after cancelling my preorder with Dispatch. It's fine, and it's probably one of my favorite items in my collection, but the Dispatch version for North America was going to have keychains, and now I will probably never have those.
  5. Don’t do it. The wait times are atrocious.
  6. I’m gonna be honest with you, I had forgotten about Dispatch. I had canceled my preorders a year+ ago, right before they came back and announced that they were closer to shipping these games, only to never be heard from again. And honestly it’s all super disappointing because I really liked the release they had planned for Japanese Rail Sim and now it looks like it will never materialize. Sad!
  7. Selling these manuals. Shipping is $3 flat. Would much rather sell in bundles. None are mint but they are not terrible either. Vegas Stakes (SNES) $2 Forsaken 64 $7 Golden Nugget 64 $4 Mario Tennis (N64) $5 Rugrats Scavenger Hunt (N64) $5
  8. That one yep. Pac Man and Ms. Pac-Man were easy. Pac Attack was a chance find, that one is rare too. But Pac In Time was the hardest.
  9. Finally have this and ready to show off: all the PAC MAN games for Game Boy!
  10. Recently got this via eBay and it’s not complete. Can anyone tell me if these match and what’s missing? I’m assuming I need a white numbered tray and at least a precautions booklet. Box is DMG P TR, manual is DMG-TR-USA-4 and cart is DMG-TR-USA-1. Code on the flap is 41025. Thanks!
  11. NES, SNES and Sega Genesis carts available for sale or trade. Prices below are shipped in the USA. Happy to do bundle deals. PayPal FnF strongly preferred. Here are pictures showing condition, if you see a sticker on the label that means I don't think it's possible to remove it without damaging the label, also some labels have tears: https://imgur.com/a/dpxx03x. 15. Yep. Caught me by surprise. Full set collectors are saying it’s uncommon. I think it’s less common than Cooking Mama 5. Don’t see many copies popping up on eBay these days.
  16. I swear if y’all make a Nintendo Power charm I will claim it
  17. https://www.ebay.com/itm/165492814396?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=1idxleblrle&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=_w4Ja4vNRs-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  18. New things here and there, had some nice opportunities come my way finally Did a trade with @Jmbarnes101 for the XCX SE which I should have picked up long ago. Found a nice deal on the Nights guide via Reddit. Found a nice deal via eBay for these two, Gardening Mama 2 is getting pricey so this was a relief. Another eBay deal from a hardcore Strawberry Shortcake collector. Picked up a sealed Torna to keep sealed (already have one opened) and also picked up this pin set for not too much money via eBay. Had an unusual opportunity to pick up a bunch of original Game Boy games, some which I've wanted for quite a while and had not been able to find easily. My favorite cover here is Faceball, that one is such a cool box art, but my favorite game might be Golf. I used to play that one a lot. A few things I've set aside from a recent local haul. The carrying case needed significant cleaning, I'm happy with how it looks now. Went in on some sales for these Switch accessories, kind of a dumb purchase but I really like these. Also got 13 Sentinels on sale and managed to find a sealed error Art Academy. Got a bunch of pixel pals! Not sure if I will keep them all but they are kinda fun. Also got this old thing. The box doesn't look great but should be fun if it all works. Oh and lastly, one of my hauls came with this bonus little set of cards, which is nice! That's all for now.
  19. I can tell you what the change was. The 00001 copies says "Online Interactions Not Rated by the ESRB" on the bottom left of the front. The 00000 copies are missing this text. Which is funny, it seems like they were supposed to have that text, it's a standard disclaimer on ESRB-rated games that include online communication. WHICH makes it seem like the 00001 revision was in response to an error that they made, which then had ANOTHER MORE RIDICULOUS ERROR.
  20. Agreed. For the time spent they could have gotten a weekend job or did some Amazon Turk tasks and probably made $300 in the same amount of time. Like I get the hunt can be fun but the "hustle" obscures the fact that time is money too. But for this couple it's obviously more about making content for their YouTube channel than obtaining a "grail."
  21. Sir.... Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure came out in 1999. IGN gave it a 10/10. Show some respect.
  22. Giving stores totes full of games at a huge discount just to spend $600 on a game that was $300 5 months ago. Not that it's a bad price! That's what it's hitting on eBay right now. But to then send it off to be graded when it's not even rare and a bunch of other people have the same game slabbed... whatever, to each their own.
