Update on all the magazines & strategy guides, finally managed to go through the whole pile, took pictures of each one for posterity and had to upload in two separate albums since it's 64 pieces in all: Album 1, Album 2 Favorite pieces are definitely the Minish Cap and Thousand Year Door strategy guides (needed those), the unofficial Banjo Kazooie guide which is AFAIK a very early Brady Games guide and way more edgy than their later stuff, and my Nintendo Power issue 100 which I thought I had lost. That Super Smash Bros Brawl guide was a duplicate but fortunately my brother had kept the poster, my other copy was missing that. So consider it an upgrade I am not planning to keep that PC Gamer mag with the Star Trek cover, sheesh.

Went into a local GameStop today to pick up Ghostbusters Remastered for Switch ($17 daily deal! and it wasn't even gutted!) and I had a few minutes to browse so I decided to see if I could find any gems. Never thought I would find an obscure Atlus game though! I had never even heard of Draglade but when I saw what it goes for online I had to snap it up. Also was very happy to find the first print of Hotel Dusk Room 215 at a great price. Especially since I got an extra 10% off with my PowerUp Rewards. Both of these games are complete with all inserts, no damage, I'm honestly wondering who the heck traded these in because I know they got peanuts for them. Also I was in need of an extra Resetti Amiibo and couldn't argue with that price! Total was $25.47 before tax. Thanks GameStop!

I once found the same Double Dash bundle from a Craigslist listing and ended up selling it on eBay for ~$225.

I’m still on the fence about whether it’s time for me to make some big purchases. I have a couple titles in mind. It probably will depend on whether I luck into the money or not. Otherwise my plan is to keep doing what I’m doing; heavy focus on Switch, complete some more sets for various franchises (like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon), get a nice N64 library I can play, take inventory of everything and keep posting pics of my hauls!

Already received half the boxes I mailed myself from my parents’ house. Managed to go through one box today and here’s everything being added to my collection. The stack of games are all complete and in mostly great condition. The 3 standing vertical are in bad shape and will need upgrading, though I might not bother with Pikmin since I have that on Wii already. And the N64 games were just used to fill some empty space in the box, but I’m happy to have them back in my life too. DKR looks bad but I’m about to clean it right up I was also able to upgrade some GameCube games with dupes that were in this box, which is always nice. Sorry to be posting again so soon but I got back from my parents’ house today and had some stuff waiting for me in the mail plus I brought some items back with me in my luggage. PowerA GameCube style wireless controller was a lightning deal on Amazon that sold out before I heard about it but I kept checking back and it came back in stock. Was maybe $17.49. Star Wars Pinball was $14.99 on Amazon, finally copped it. Super Monkey Ball 3D was a surprise deal on Woot, also $14.99, I've had trouble finding this in good condition used so figured why not just buy new? Splasher and Neuro Voider were from the buy 2 get 1 free promotion at Red Art Games, I got a second copy of Splasher as trade bait with that haul. The Mario toys are fast food toys I found at my parent's house, the first two are from 2002 and the third is from 2006, second is for Mario Sunshine and the third is for Mario Pinball Land. Nyko Game Boost for 3DS I found in my brother's room, he never opened it!? It only fits the launch model 3DS and I don't have one but I figured it's worth just holding on to? Hadn't seen one before. SML2 and Hyper Lode Runner I think were mine but I had lent to my brother at one point and I decided to borrow them back... for good. Gotcha Force was my brother's, he bought this back when it was a new game, played it for many hours, if you ask him about this game he can tell you every minute detail. For years I thought he was missing the manual for it, he thought he must have bought it used and it didn't come with the manual, well can you believe when I was looking through his stack of manuals I found it? And in mint condition too. He has a terrible memory and now I have his CIB Gotcha Force. I also brought my brother's copy of Chibi Robo with me but I'm not including that since I already have a copy in my collection. These were the two GameCube games I wasn't willing to stick in the mail The rest of my hometown haul I had to quickly pack and ship via UPS and USPS in the little bit of free time I had while I was there... it ended up being 8 boxes, 3 all books and the other 5 were all games, accessories and one console, in total it was over 100 pounds weight combined and cost me almost $150 with supplies. I’ll post pics of what goes into my collection as I receive the boxes in the next couple weeks, and I’ll also be selling some stuff (mostly NES / SNES / PS3 and some dupes).

Finally made it to my parents house to reclaim my childhood collection (what’s left of it). My brother is also giving me all of his stuff because he prefers emulating and hacking games on PC (he’s keeping a few strategy guides though. I just have to pack everything and ship it to myself. The cardboard boxes need serious restoration, this will be a slow project and I will post updates as I go through everything. Also the NES bag is filled to the brim with loose NES games. Will reveal all the stuff you can’t see when I go through them at my house!!! p.s. can someone identify this NES bag for me?

Picked this up for $80 yesterday! Was listed on FB Marketplace on Friday for $100. Surprisingly no one snapped it up. Maybe the flippers in my area are on vacation. I offered $80 on Saturday and the seller accepted. I was even worried another buyer might take it since I couldn’t pick it up until yesterday (Sunday) but nope. The 2DS XL needs a serious cleaning but it has no scratches or other wear. The seller said their kid barely used it in the 2 years since they got it (the kid also has a Switch and only ever plays that). This is my first 2DS XL and it means I finally have enough 3DS units to do Triforce Heroes locally I plan to sell all the games in this bundle that are duplicates (so I will only be keeping 2) and that will probably reduce my total cost to $30 or $40!

Haven't posted in a while so here is a big one. This is maybe almost 3 weeks of stuff? Kind of ridiculous but I can explain! Scribblenauts, Runbow, Terraria x2, and Tomodachi Life: Got these in a trade. I already had a Nintendo Selects version of Tomodachi but super happy to have a first print finally, now I'm Nintendo-Selects-free in my 3DS collection! HeartGold, I traded someone a Pokeball Plus and $120 for this, 100% complete, with a sealed copy of the game inside. I already had HeartGold (the inner box) CIB, so I swapped that out and will sell the sealed game. Have a loose Pokewalker too and right now I'm thinking I keep both Pokewalkers. Feels good to finally have this 100% complete. The loose GBA/GBC games were from a super cheap haul I posted in another thread, these are the games I plan to keep from that haul. Kero Blaster, ordered this from 1Print Games and it finally arrived, was not cheap though (shipping was $16!!!), but man is it a nice package, the booklet even has a message from Daisuke Amaya. Deus Ex, Madworld and the Amiibo 3 pack were GameStop pickups today. The first two I couldn't pass up at these prices, nice clean CIB copies too, and then I saw the Amiibo and was like "OK, I want it." I also picked up Bakugan Battle Brawlers for Wii CIB for $0.89, no idea why it was marked so cheap, but hey, for that price I'll buy almost anything. My Friend Pedro was a GameStop $17 daily deal. Luminous Avenger IX was ordered through LRG, took quite a while to finally arrive. Pokemon Sword was a Facebook Daily Steal at $38, and it was actually the US version, phew. Hello Kitty Seasons and Cranium Kabooki, well, some friends were headed to a thrift store and I asked them to let me know what was in the video game section, of course it was mostly the most common schlock, but I spotted these two in the picture they sent me and said why not. In the end my friends gifted these to me, so can't argue with that. Fire Emblem Path of Radiance Strategy guide was just a lot of patiently waiting for a deal on eBay, I think it was $24? Something like that. Slay the Spire and Wargroove were on sale from Best Buy, I think $19.99 and $29.99. NES Online controllers, they were on sale for $29.99, had to do it.

Have a look at the Game Boy Light. Was a Japan exclusive console with a great backlight, better than most mods.

Finally a good haul! Got this off Mercari for $50 (~$58 with tax and shipping), ran the numbers today and I feel like I stole these.
