  1. I hear you. Those are resellers sitting at the computer every moment looking for anything to make a profit especially a bargain. That has increase a lot over the years and that will never change. Has a lot to do with people growing up and more increase number of resellers or bargain hunters on whatever is available. I was referring to the demand for people to pay fair market or a small discount. To me the word "fairly" is fair market value or 5%-10% discount. Aero Fighters CIB is more of an in demand game which will have lots of interest on the open market. Eventually that price will come down when people aren't the price and more Aero Fighter CIB sell for cheaper.
  2. I've seen the demand for retro cart only/complete games drop significantly over the years. Back 10 years ago people were buying those up for there collection. I think now like someone else said people are more into the modern stuff. People who have grown up on retro games pretty much have everything they want as far as a collection and again like some have said there is more people looking to make profit instead of collect. Eventually that bubble will burst and you will find that those people will have all this inventory on hand and not much of a demand for it unless its discounted out.
  3. Hopefully this answers the questions and helps you. No matter what site you sell on you will receive a form if you are $600 or over. Here is something else. If you sell anything on VGS or any gaming site and you receive Paypal or Venmo payments over $600 you will receive a form from the payment app/site or bank.
  4. Yeah which is why people should just hire an accountant and pay whatever is owed in taxes. It's not really a big deal sending in forms especially if you see an accountant already for other things.
  5. The penalty can be 1 year in jail with up to a $25,000 fine. Saying "I don't know how this works" will not fly with IRS. IRS considers you a business and you will be responsible for whatever you don't report.
  6. I give full refund upon return of the item for items not described or damaged during shipment. Giving them what they wanted will encourage the buyer they can demand what they want to any seller and chances are like user guygamer said perfectly people do this on purpose. My suggestion is make sure you test anything you put up for sale.
  7. I have been to many video games stores in Southern California over the past few months. All I have to say is good luck if you are hunting for retro games. I walked into places like for example Game Dude and they sold a lot of inventory. The selection outright sucks at most of the retro gaming places in Southern California. If stuff is available you will find most of the games are overpriced.
  8. If a for sale/buy thread hasn't been bumped in over a month I would check when that person last visited the site. If they haven't visited in a while (over a week) I would say the chances of a response is less likely. They may not have notifications on which allows them to get an email when someone messages them.
  9. Probably won't get sales then if you increase the price 10%. There is just too much competition.
  10. Just wait what's next is states will start requiring people to have a business license to sell on any website.
  11. Ebay does have a sellers performance rating. If they are under 2% Ebay can place restrictions on the seller. Sellers can only do so many cancellations then it will become a problem with Ebay.
  12. Much cheaper in shipping cost. Even cheaper if someone can just pick this stuff up from you locally.
