  1. I agree with your post, except that I do not think 50% agree the price is warranted.
  2. Heya, just curious what your #1 game genre is. Mine is action adventure or action RPG, particularly the top down old school style. The controls are simple enough and the games can look pretty great.
  3. Michaelangelo. Not sure whether people read the comic books, though Splinter says Mikey has the highest natural talent. His weapons are dope though tbh I think they each have cool weapons.
  4. @Tanooki I was meaning to purchase the Genesis MM due to that actually. Done!
  5. I'm honestly excited that I managed to snag a 2021 Playdate order. The thing is charming as heck and just super awesome. Oh and Zelda SS. Hadn't played it since it was a wii game and it's great as well.
  6. @JamesRobot they were gone in like 10 mins. I managed to snag one despite the international shipping issues. My lady ordered one to her mom in the US, though I told her to cancel it once my order worked. Perhaps ya win the lottery and get a canceled order as your prize. I can ask whether or not it is canceled and let ya know?
  7. Ah yes, the manual that helped @BriGuy82 become a Briman
  8. Atm I playing Zelda SS and then I plan to play Great Greed.
  9. 10. I think the original trilogy all deserve 9-10, they are awesome.
  10. I think my vote goes to 2D though it is tough.
  11. I complete Wario Land and collected all the treasures though I don't think that I saw the moon. Is that only done when you have the max coins when you win?
  12. No particular criteria just a manual that stands on its own to you. Mine is Link's Awakening original GB. It was the second game I ever received and the manual was sweet; it had the items and hints, though honestly that art. Just great.
  13. @Tanooki I think Sega was angry due to Nintendo's not allowing 3rd party devs to work with other consoles. Nintendo has a nice image with their games though they can be pretty ruthless business-wise. Sega was pissed and could actually argue their point as a gaming (arcade) juggernaut in their own right. I think that is a reason this particular rivalry is remembered. Sony and Microsoft are not gaming companies. Oh and I am with the people who didn't really argue which console was superior. I had an SNES and prior to owning a Genesis, really enjoyed playing it when I had access to play the console.
  14. With the Link's Awakening engine done, do you think they'd do the 2 Oracle games? I imagine it a simple thing to do. I know Capcom did the two games. The other thing is they'd sell the 2 separately not the same cartridge it IS Capcom / Nintendo. You guys think / know they have plans?
  15. I actually meant like which one do you tend to play these days? @Tanooki yeah, I think that was just the nature with Sega's specialty the arcade. Even though their platformers are super unappreciated, I do think that even those didn't ever use an overworld map / save. The latter tends to encourage exploration with secrets etc. that lend to really getting into the game.
  16. I rank them 1-3-2. The original had Donkey and the level variety/soundtrack was great. I remember when this was new and yeah, it was pretty impressive.
  17. Did anyone change their mind either when it was relevant or when they were older and realized at this point they tend to rather play the other console? Example: you were a Nintendo kid and then got into retro collecting, did the Genesis thing and realized: holy crap, this is my new jam.
  18. I rather games not include mounts/vehicles. They are annoying to summon and the controls are never as smooth as just playing as the character.
  19. We are supposed to reserve our 10/10 ratings to our #1, so not including your actual one, which would you choose?
